Vans Classics revisits the early days of California skate and surf culture with the Golden Coast Collection. Since 1966, Vans’ iconic canvas creations have captivated the youth with a line-up of simple colorways and board-friendly vulcanized waffle outsoles to support them. The Golden Coast Collection channels the spirit of the era by releasing a series of styles inspired by Vans’ original color palette from the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. The two-toned capsule showcases heritage designs in a range of soft beach hues such as Blue Shadow, Golden Brown, Smoked Pearl, Rust and Cabbage. The selection taps three of Vans’ most celebrated silhouettes including the lace-free Classic Slip-On, laced-up Era and the first Sidestriped skate sneaker, the Old Skool, for a seven-piece homage to Southern California’s rich skate and surf history. The Golden Coast Collection retails from $45 to $55 and is available now at select Vans stockists.
