Who would’ve ever thought that sneakers would influence art in a way that it does with the creation of a sneaker-inspired gas mask? Although it has been a while since Freehand Profit has graced our pages, the wait has been worth the while as we take a look at the freelance artists’ Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” gas mask.

Using 2008’s Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” as its base, Freehand Profit reworked the kicks into something that you’d probably only use to prevent yourself from inhaling airborne pollutants or toxic gases. Nonetheless, the gas mask was made for a client and was not a pair from Freehand’s personal collection.
