Yi Jianlian, New Jersey Nets forward and proud Asian man, has been rockin’ this player exclusive pair of Nike Hyperize this season in New Jerusalem. The Nike Basketball shoe features a clear middle, white toe, and varsity blue and deep red accents. If this shoe has taught us anything, it is that we, as polite, law-abiding customers are not to criticize, but “Hyperize” instead. However, I can’t help but scoff at Yi’s decision to jettison sunny Milwaukee for New Jersey, where I’m told all it does is rain . . . The Nike Hyperize Yi Jianlian PE will remain exclusive to the big fella for the foreseeable future.

To go along with Yi Jianlian’s other player exclusive Nike Zoom Skyposite, the New Jersey Nets forward has received another, more stylish, Skyposite to honor the Chinese baller. The Nike Zoom Skyposite Yi Jianlian PE features a snazzy blue/white gradient effect on the leather upper of the midnight navy/white-varsity red colorway, along with Yi’s logo on the tongue, and a unique Chinese character design on the inner tongue. These babies retail for $180 online overseas, but are sure to make an appearance at your local Nike Basketball dealer soon.

Just a day after the Nike Foamposite Lite was previewed we get a look at this model designed for New Jersey Nets Forward, Yi Jianlian. Yi got his very own Hyperdunk and Air Force 1 last year and looks to a new sneaker to sport on the hardwood with the Foamposite Lite. The sneakers are dressed in the colors of the Nets, white, varsity red and midnight navy. Furthermore, Yi’s logo appears on the tongue in red, a nice accent to the white and midnight navy found on the sneaker. Now available at Dunk.com.cn

After already previewing the Nike Hyperdunk Yi Jianlian New Jersey Nets PE and Nike Air Force 1 Supreme – Yi Jianlian, New Jersey Nets Forward Yi Jianlian is set to release yet another Player Exclusive model, Air Force 25. Despite appearing on a less popular model, the Air Force 25 Low incorporates a subtle black and white color-way along with a nice gradient design and translucent outer sole. As players change teams, their shoes often change too according to their teams colors. As you may have heard, Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons were traded to the New Jersey Nets for Richard Jefferson.

With that said, Yi will be outfitted with a new Hyperdunk modeling the Nets colors. Despite already having a China National Team Nike Hyperdunk created for him, Yi’s latest Hyperdunk also features all of his branding including his jersey number embroidered at the front of the shoe as well as his logo on the tongue.
