After sneaking in a peek at the Van Doren collection from Vans for the next Fall/Winter 2012 sneaker season, today we get a look at a collection of shoes to help protect against the frigid weather that is also dropping next Fall/Winter 2012. This Vans Outdoor Classics Pack consists of the Vans Chukka, Switchback and Low Profile Era- each in at least two different colorways. After getting some “wings,” Vans now turns its attention to the application of some matte leather to a trio of classic designs. Pictured here are “blackout” matte leather uppers of the Vans Switchback, Chukka Del Barco mid & Era. Shoe laces, lining and soles all come in black matte leather as well, finishing off a simple but effective pack that is set to hit Vans retailers during the earlier part of 2012.

Now we’d like to present you with pictures of another pair of the Vans Switchback not covered yet. Pictured here is a Vans Switchback in a multi-tonal grey upper with black sole and a nice touch with striped shoe laces. These are also a part of the Vans Switchback holiday 2009 collection, which has already begun to hit certain Vans retailers nationwide. In June, we showed you two pairs of the Vans Switchback. Now, it’s time for two new pairs to be shown. One comes in a very sleek all-black upper with white sole. The second pair sports a dark brown upper with red shoe laces and white sole. These can already be found at select Vans retailers everywhere.

Vans is “switching” it up with the Vans Switchback as part of the Vans California Collection Holiday 2009. This Vans boot isn’t just like the Cup versions of the Vans Chukka or Vans Sk8-Hi. This new boot model uses suede or coated canvas uppers to really make this a sturdy boot. Coming in a brown and grey colorway, both shoes come with two sets of tubed and flat laces. The brown model has a white midsole whereas the other has a brown one, making these shoes contrast well. The Vans logo is found on the tongue tag to finish off these shoes which are set to release at Vans retailers this October.
