After just previewing for you the upcoming Vans Vault Vintage Pack, we bring you a second pack- however, this one is characterized by the involvement of none other than long-time Vans Vault collaborater Taka Hayashi. This pack includes the TH (Taka Hayashi) versions of both the Sk8 Hi and the Derby in black and brown colorways. Both the high-top and low-top designs have a bit more classy feel to it and are sure to look good with more dressed-up outfits.

Taka Hayashi has already done some great work with Vans Vault for the year of 2009, but it doesn’t stop there, as the two keep the ball rolling for 2010. The Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Spring 2010 Collection includes two newly designed sneakers: two colorways each for a high and lowtop. Also added in the mix are some sandals to fit your feet for the sunny spring and summer seasons. Hayashi once again places a Native American influence in the collection to add some flare to your everyday shoe. Stay tuned for further info on the collection and more upcoming additions to it.

Vans Vault is bursting with more hits as the shoe company teamed up with Taka Hayashi once again to make the Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Velocita LX. The shoe features a black leather upper with subtle brown leather contrasts. The white midsole adds a classic touch to the shoe, along with the black laces. The back ankle tab sports an array of colored leather underneath it to give the shoe some secret flavor. Available now at HUF.

The last time Vans teamed up with Taka Hayashi, the pair made the “Triple Crown of Surfing” Pack. Once again, the two have created magic with the Taka Hayashi x Vans No Quarter LX in a black/rich gold colorway. This black leather upper hightop is nicely contrasted by an off-white midsole, and features ankle belt straps and fine embroidery. The creative pair definitely paid attention to this shoe, adding on a sizzled pattern on the side panel and other knick-knacks that you’ll definitely find interesting. Japanese designer Taka Hayashi partnered up with Vans to produce the Authentic Low “Triple Crown of Surfing.” The skate shoe’s vulcanized midsole features the Triple Crown phrase in graphic print and a black upper with unique tonal prints. An orange eyelet and Vans flag provide visual contrast to the otherwise straightforward design. No information regarding availability is currently known, but someone on our fastidious staff will update here when we learn more!

Vans recently collaborated with Taka Hayashi to create the LX Akat, a moccasin-esque shoe that features triangular stitching and branding. Down below, the LX Akat is finished off by a crepe midsole. The model’s toebox is rounded, providing awesome comfort and a unique look. Via Colmilludo.

Active will be going in a different direction for their Drop Sneakers Not Bombs campaign which employs Taka Hayashi to work with Vans and the California retailer. Included in this years collection is the Half Cab and J-Lay Mid. The Half Cab utilizes several different materials which consist of stingray leather and other various premium leathers. Other details include pig skin lining with Taka Hayashi’s artwork. The sneaker has been designed with an all black upper while the J-Lay Mid features an even more unique composition along with its brown theme. The sneakers can be seen with pony hair, baseball glove leather and pigskin lining with more artwork. Both styles are now available at in-store and online at Active.
