A couple of days ago we reported on the release of Rowley SPV, one of Vans’ lesser-known silhouettes. Today, it is our pleasure to show you another collection that might have flown under the radar. Pictured here is the Fall 2011 sneaker collection of Vans Pro Classics designed with Ray Barbee in mind- skateboarder from San Jose. This pack consists of a green/white 92 Old Skool and black/white 95 Epoch. Whether you expected to or not, if you’re actually feeling either or both of these sneakers, they’re available now from participating Vans retailers.

After hearing about the Vans Re-Issue of the Ray Barbee Vans Old Skool ’92, we were a little excited. What makes us go crazy is the fact that Vans has released a whole Ray Barbee Re-Issue collection to celebrate 20 years of the man’s professional skate career. The Re-Issue collection consists of the aforementioned Old Skool ’92 LX in white and black colorways, a Vans Era ’87 in green, and a Vans Chukka ’95 in brown. All four skate shoes are released like it’s not even 2009, with the original materials, packaging, and everything else to every last detail. Don’t let the hype about the HUF x Vans Old Skools take away from the limelight of the real old Old Skools. Vans is releasing the Vans Old Skool ’92 LX as a reissue, which pro-skater Ray Barbee rocked back in the day. The shoe features a light tone allover, from the white and tan upper to the white midsole. The Vans stripe is donned in black leather to match the black laces and black midsole stripe. These are definitely some clean classics that will be big in the coming weeks. These will sell for $80 and will be available very soon.
