Long Beach boutique Proper recently partnered up with Reebok to rework the Dual Pump Runner. The Pump Runner will appear in three new colorways: black/apple green/white, black/powder blue/orange/white, and grey/grey/white. The casual’s upper is a strategic mixture of premium suede and mesh. Fit is augmented by the Pump inflatable bladder that blesses the midfoot. Proper’s logo rises semi-vertically, top to bottom near the heel. The Reebok x Proper Dual Pump Runner will release later this year exclusively at Proper.

For those waiting on the Proper X Vans 2008 Holiday Collection to release, you can swing by the Long Beach retailer now to pick-up the new collaboration. Included are the Authentic One Piece LX, the Chukka Del Barco, and the Native American. Each is available in two color ways and will sport the Proper logo on the insole and a special multicolored tag attached to each of the sneakers. Furthermore, the sneakers will be packed in a special box that reads “Custom made for Proper” on the outside. Be sure not to miss out on another great release created by Vans and Proper.

Right around this time last year, Proper and Vans worked together to present three SK8-HIs. This year, the two go in a different direction. Owner of proper, Tristan Caruso sheds some light on the collaboration through an interview and explains the collection. “There’s three styles altogether. There’s the Authentic One Piece LX, the Chukka Del Barco, and the Native American LX which we dubbed the Long Beach Native.” says Caruso, he also adds, “The Native American is an original skate shoe that Vans used to produced that had a really simple look to it.” when asked about the Native American model.
