To go along with Yi Jianlian’s other player exclusive Nike Zoom Skyposite, the New Jersey Nets forward has received another, more stylish, Skyposite to honor the Chinese baller. The Nike Zoom Skyposite Yi Jianlian PE features a snazzy blue/white gradient effect on the leather upper of the midnight navy/white-varsity red colorway, along with Yi’s logo on the tongue, and a unique Chinese character design on the inner tongue. These babies retail for $180 online overseas, but are sure to make an appearance at your local Nike Basketball dealer soon.

Among the pairs of the Nike Zoom Skyposite covered this second half of the year was the Player Edition pair designed for Amare Stoudemire in Phoenix Suns purple. Like the Kryptonate pair, this PE Skyposite is actually slated for a release sometime this month. So in anticipation of what I’m sure many people are salivating over due to the incredibly lightweight, modern, and purple design of this Skyposite, we’re relaying detailed shots of this sneaker as well. Back in mid-September we brought you a look at the Nike Zoom Skyposite “Kryptonate” and, to the (expected) delight of several, informed you that these are actually scheduled to release sometime THIS month of December from House of Hoops locations nationwide. As that general release date draws ever so nearer, it might be time for a reminder. So we’re here to provide that by showing you detailed images that surfaced online of Nate Robinson-inspired Nike Zoom Skyposites nicknamed the “Kryptonate,” as was the pair of the Nike Foamposite Lite this high-flier wore en route to becoming Slam Dunk Champion last season. Towards the end of October we were able to bring you word of the 202 House of Hoops exclusive Nike Zoom Skyposite made in a nice colorway and sporting a healthy mix of materials. The next Skyposite we’re showing you now is one that the Nike team designed specifically for the New Jersey Nets’ forward Yi Jianlian. The tongue sports a red “Yi,” while very few other blue and red accents contribute to a silhouette that sports a predominantly white base. Ironically enough, these look like a pair of shoes that the USA Olympic basketball team might wear the next time its called upon to dominate the rest of the world. With the new House of Hoops locations popping up lately, there has to be some exclusive sneakers to boost the hype. Footlocker has some Nike goodies, like this Mall at Prince Georges HOH exclusive of the Nike Zoom Skyposite. This 202 Skyposite features the respective area code of the Maryland location to rep the city. The shoe sports a black synthetic upper with blue accents on the lace eyelets, inner lining, tongue, and translucent sole. This basketball release definitely does the store and its new fans justice, so make sure you East Coast heads cop a pair!
