The Nike Dunk high is now unquestionably etched in sneaker culture history- just like the Nike Air Force 1 and Air Jordan signature series. So this news is bound to excite many of you. In August of 2003, a collection of three pairs of the- what is now famous- Nike Dunk Supreme high released in baby blue, red, and orange. For the spring season of 2010, the Nike team has prepared a set of three more Nike Dunk highs that will undoubtedly jog our memories back to those SB Supreme highs. Pictured here is a set of baby blue/white, red/white, and orange/white Nike Dunk highs almost identical to the aforementioned Supremes, except that they are not from the SB line and do consists of the gold stars. Moreover, one more difference seems to be that the orange pair will come in 2010 with a set of baby blue laces, which was not the case with its SB Supreme counterpart. Towards the end of August we brought you an early look at a pair of gold and a pair of silver Nike Dunk Highs each draped in metallic material. Now that the shoes have begun to become available through certain Nike retailers, we can provide you a much closer look at the execution on each of these shoes. Something that stands out with the gold pair is that the mid-panels are actually black, whereas the silver pair consists of silver on the mid-panel as it does on the rest of the shoe. Lastly, both pairs come with white midsoles and their respective metallic colored shoe laces. So check in with us after the jump for the clearest set of pictures yet of this pack.

Last week we were really excited to report that this year’s edition of the Nike Dunk (High) “Day of the Dead” was going to release ON Halloween from out of stateside House of Hoops locations. Unfortunately for fans of this shoe, like myself, we have now received word of another Nike flip-flop: this Nike Dunk High “Day of the Dead” will not be made available at House of Hoops. If something changes again, we’ll obviously and most definitely relay that information to you. However, it seems like- at least for now- you’ll have to do a little more hunting than a big House of Hoops location to get your hands on these.

All the buzz surrounding the East vs. West Rivalry pack has left the top and bottom ends of the compass feeling a little left out, a problem that Nike plans to remedy with the release of their North Pack. We saw a few models hit retailers earlier this month, but now we have images of a new addition to the pack, a three-tone colorway of  the Nike Dunk High. Featuring a Nike North tongue tag , the predominantly black model is tied together with hits of blue on the outsole, canvas ankle panel, Swoosh, and eyelets. With this model set to release in November, we can’t wait to see what the folks over in Beaverton are cooking up for the South.

Many have been looking forward to trying to get their hands on one or all of the shoes included in Nike’s 2009 Day of the Dead Collection. Favored by many more than any other shoe in the pack is the Nike Dunk High Premium, which will be a quickstrike release. However, we now have word that on Saturday October 31, 2009, stateside House of Hoops locations will have these on sale- and just in time for Halloween and the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday on November 2nd. Needless to say, these will be in high demand, and supplies might not last too long. So if you’re feeling these and don’t want to pay above retail, then make sure you’re in line early.

This holiday is, again, shaping up to be one for the AGES. Along with Jordan retros, Air Force 1’s, and Air Max’s, Nike also has planned to drop a couple of Nike Dunk’s on us this holiday season. Here we bring you a picture of yet another high-top Nike Dunk releasing during the holidays. It consists of a predominantly team red & burgundy-ish red upper, along with a gold Nike swoosh and grey sole. Topped off with white laces and what appears to be a fishscale patter along the upper, these are expected to be made available come December, 2009. What do you think of these Nike Dunk High’s?
