New Balance has teamed up with American luggage maker Briefing and Japan-based retailer Beauty & Youth by United Arrows for a very interesting collaboration project.

The New Balance CM1700 x Briefing x Beauty & Youth Capsule Collection will consist of the iconic New Balance CM1700 model that features premium grey suede and mesh uppers with accented red and white signature branding throughout. Lace up in style as these kicks also come complete with the addition of alternative red laces. This pack offers up more than what we’ve seen in the recent past as it also includes a well-constructed nylon waist and duffle bag for any spontaneous adventure. The bags sport similar color blocking and combine distinctive New Balance x Briefing x Youth & Beauty tags.

The New Balance 574 will be the silhouette of choice for a “Made in England” Heritage Pack that is set to release soon. But for this limited edition release, the sneaker will be the New Balance 1700 pictured here. The upper shall consist of reflective silver leather, navy checkerboard paneling and mesh. If you’re going to get your hands on these, chances are you’re going to have to look to an online retailer for a shot at purchasing.

We have already seen New Balance’s innovative efforts this year through releases such as the “Sonic Pack,” where a seamless upper is executed on the 574 silhouette. Moreover, the 410 sneaker model has also been reworked into a slimmer design. This time around the New Balance team has decided to pull together with Urban Research iD from Japan to create the 1700 pictured here. It comes with a smooth, black suede upper contrasted with a predominantly white midsole. Very nice turquoise accents can be found scattered throughout the entire shoe, which will perhaps single-handedly win certain sneaker enthusiasts over. In May, we brought you a look at a collaboration between United Arrows and the New Balance team, which resulted in, for one thing, a CM1700. Now, the United Arrows retailer will be from where the results of a collaboration between Beauty & Youth and New Balance will release. In celebration of Beauty & Youth’s 20th anniversary, three pairs of the New Balance 1700 have been prepared. The collection includes one pair in dark brown leather and two pairs including suede and mesh materials in black and in grey colorways. As we said before, these will release through United Arrows, and it’ll be sometime in December.
