Those of you who fell in love with Michael Lau’s efforts on the very special woodgrain colorway of the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski are in luck, as the model is now available through a special ‘Gardener 10th’ pack. Celebrating Lau’s diverse body of work, the pack is to commemorate his Gardener 10th exhibition from earlier this month. We all know about Michael Lau’s “10th Gardener” exhibition, and the special edition Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski in the woodgrain design. To further promote the exhibition, Nike SB has released the Michael Lau x Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski 10th Gardener Friends and Family edition. This edition of the shoe is a little different from its woodgrain brother, as it uses a distressed wood print canvas upper to keep with the theme. It uses a white midsole to keep to the white washed wood print tone of the shoe, making it a really clean shoe. No doubt these will be kept to a very limited quantity, speculating a lower double digit release. Keep it locked to find out more details about the shoe.

Nike teams up with frequent collaborator Michael Lau to present a new colorway of the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski. Similar to the 2006 Nike SB Dunk Low Lau worked on, the sneaker features a stylized woodgrain patterned upper, but uses brighter accenting than its older sibling, creating contrast with its white laces/midsole. Word has it that model will be released on October 3rd, to coincide with the end of Lau’s ’10th Gardener’ exhibition, but no news on how limited a release it might be facing. When Michael Lau was commissioned by Nike to design a pair of Air Force 1s as apart of the Nike1World campaign, he came up with a model he nicknamed “Crazy“, getting its inspiration from mental asylums. This unique concept has a few components that tie into the “Crazy” theme including the quilted pattern that makes up the upper along with tally marks at the heel of the sneaker. Other markings have been added to the tongue and on the inside of the sneaker. Kix-Files has one size available for $680.

News of Michael Lau working with Nike 1World broke yesterday with only a promo picture, here’s a look at the actual sneaker. The “Crazy” Air Force 1 features an all white quilted leather upper, a design displayed in the first image of the collaboration. In addition, the tongue, heel and back heel all feature writing with gold stitching being used for the heel. The last time Hong Kong artist Michael Lau and Nike teamed it, it resulted in a super limited edition Dunk Low SB, the two are back together to collaborate under the 1World Project. The Michael Lau’s “Crazy” Air Force 1 will be showcased among other things at the MICHAEL GALLERY in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, there isn’t much about this project aside from this teaser picture, stay posted for more info. The public gallery will be be open from November 29th till November 30th. Via J.ME.

In more Nike Olympic news, the Dunk Gyrizo BMX package has finally been released. A few months ago, we reported the first sightings and released a little information describing the sneakers, but here’s a little more.

Four color-ways have just hit the Nikestore, white/blue star color-way designed by Tet of WTAPS and a red/yellow Chinese based color-way, designed by Michael Lau. Two other styles have also been released, white/red and black/gold. Head over to the NikeStore to purchase all four designs.
