Yesterday, a black-royal blue/white pair of the Chuck Taylor Skate gave us our first look into a CONS collection celebrating Thrasher Magazine’s “Prevent This Tragedy” video releasing next year. We now present you with shots of two more sneakers that are a part of that collection. The Chuck Taylor Skate Ox sports a black upper with bubble gum sole, and the Chuck Taylor Skate mid also sports a predominantly black upper, but with green accents and a white sole. Which of the three shoes showcased as part of the “Prevent This Tragedy” collection do you feel looks best?

Last month we showed you a pair of the brown, mid-top CONS CTS (Chuck Taylor Skate) that many took a liking too as a result of its stylish silhouette and colorway. Now, we are showing you the closest thing to CONS’ first collaboration with any other company- the “Prevent This Tragedy” CTS Low. In commemoration of Thrasher Magazine’s “Prevent This Tragedy” video releasing in the February issue around January 12, this pair of the CTS was designed in mostly black suede with royal blue and white accents. Stay on top of your local CONS and Converse retailers for your shot at perhaps the best CTS to date.

Sneakerheads showed Converse a lot of love and respect for what they did with a low-top Chuck Taylor on which they applied a “stone” color palette. Now, Converse turns its attention to the mid-top cut of the Chuck Taylor Skate. Ready for a holiday 2009 release are the two pairs of CTS Mid’s pictured here in predominantly suede black and suede brown uppers. The brown pair sports an all-white sole with a dash of black, and it is available now at Converse retailers. Interestingly enough, the black pair sports the same black accent on the sole, however, the sole is grey as opposed to white, and it is set to drop come November 1st. Both shoes are made for wear and tear as you ride down the winter streets, so pick your weapon. Which pair do you like better?

Converse has made a name for itself largely off of the success of its Chuck Taylor sneaker. And collaborations with brands such as Victim help continually build their fan base. However, the Vans crew knows when it needs to pay attention to its staple shoe. The Chuck Taylor pictured here is actually a part of Vans’ skating designs, and comes in a low-top cut with “stone” grey upper. Some variation exists on the sole, which is mostly white with a hint of black. No official release date yet, but a suggested retail price is somewhere between $50 and $60- just make sure you’re on top of when this Chuck Taylor Skate comes to your favorite Converse retailer.
