Adidas is by no means a stranger to drawing inspiration from team logos and applying them on a sneaker model. This time around, the Adidas Centennial is the canvas and the inspiration for this pack comes from a group of five Eastern Conference NBA teams. Although we got a sneak peek of this pack earlier on in the year, we now have a good look at five sneakers that draw inspiration from the Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks, respectively. Thanks to their official licensing deal with the NBA, adidas will be back with their “NBA Series” this Fall. The ‘85-’86 adidas Centennial hightop is the subject of the line. The New York Knicks version features the Knickerbockers logo on the tongue and an orange suede upper with varsity blue accents. The adidas Centennial NBA Series will be available at select Three Stripes accounts this Fall.
