We have seen a multitude of Nike Hyperdunk PEs over the course of the past few weeks mainly due to March Madness and the NCAA Tournament. This time around, Nike has decided to reward the  Gonzaga University with their very own colorway of the Hyperdunk. The Gonzaga PE hosts a navy blue upper accented by a navy to white gradient midpanel, red swoosh, red outsole, and red inner lining. In addition, the Gonzaga Bulldog can be seen on the tongue, while the inside of the tongue reveals the founding year of GU, 1887. The Gonzaga PE Nike Hyperdunk is not expected to release at any retailers.

Back in December 2009, we showcased the Nike Air Hoop Structure FA Flywire, and we are now receiving word that a new colorway of one of Nike’s newest basketball models is now available at selected retailers. The Air Hoop Structure FA is essentially the same silhouette as the Air Hoop Structure with the addition of flywire on the upper to decrease weight, while not affecting the overall comfort or support of the sneaker. Nike has decided to combine all they have to offer technology-wise for their sponsored athletes for the upcoming NBA 2010 Playoffs. While LeBron James will be rocking his Air Max LeBron VII (7) P.S. sneakers, other athletes will have the chance to wear the Nike Air Max Hyperize, which hosts Flywire tecnology and an Air Max 360 sole. This specific pair yields a white upper with a black swoosh, university blue midsole, black laces, an intricate university blue lined pattern on the upper, and black inner lining. The Nike Air May Hyperize POP is expected to release in late April 2010.

Our last release update of the Nike SB Dunk low “Chirping Bird” informed our readers of an expected Spring 2010 release period. Although January and February have both come and gone, it’s just now Spring, people! So get excited for the… “Larry Perkins?”

Yes, the “Chirping Bird” Nike SB Dunk low pictured here has been more accurately re-nicknamed the “Larry Perkins-” after a fictitious skateboarding character who supposedly got a huge kick from making prank phone calls on behalf of Big Brother Magazine. To that extent, the chirping noise has since been replaced with a telephone ring in allusion to those aforementioned prank phone calls. This long-awaited Nike SB Dunk low is scheduled to drop later this month, with many shops having a slated release date of this Saturday, March 20.

Earlier this month we brought you word of another collection of high-top shoes from PF Flyers- the Box Cut Center. We’d like to also show you what else the brand has in store for Spring 2010. Now we get to highlight for you the PF Flyers Glide high, which comes in an updated version that includes a padded tongue, ribs on the heel area, and special “terry” lining for an even more comfortable Posture Foundation insole. We also now see Italian sequin-printed leather as a new material experimented with along the upper of at least two colorways- silver/grey and copper/brown, which each retail for $150. The three other Italian sequin-printedless pairs retail for $85 each.
