In early December of last year we showed you a sneak peek of several big name Nike silhouettes scheduled to release in 2010. Among those samples you might have spotted a white/red silhouette, which is actually that of the Nike Air Penny III pictured here. On April 23, 2010, the white/varsity red-black Nike Air Penny III will release from participating Nike retailers and to the joy of several Nikeheads. When news surfaced in 2009 that the Nike Air Pegasus would be making a return, few of us knew just how strong a return it would be. But nothing gets a sneakerhead’s attention like evidence. That is why when we showed you a pair of the Nike Air Pegasus 89 sporting electric green, the interest of many peaked. Although the new year’s celebration is dying down, now there is reason for some Nike heads to start celebrating once again. Certain Nike retailers have received their Nike Air Pegasus 89 “electric green” cargo. Not surprisingly, one such source is an overseas one- but for those of us who sometimes are simply too antsy, we don’t mind waiting for shipment as long as we know they’re purchased. 2010 marks the beginning of a new decade, and hopefully the beginning of a new era of both great retros and new releases. Although we’re not here to report about any releases of the Deion Sanders Air Jordan XI PE football cleats, we would like to tell you about plans regarding another treat. Nike is planning to retro Deion Sanders’ first shoe- the Nike Air Diamond Turf pictured here- in its original colorway. As of now, word on the sneaker block is that these should be ready for a Fall 2010 release, but as always, you can rest assured we here at SneakerFiles will keep you up-to-date with any and all release information. To continue the Spike Lee line with Nike, the shoe company has released a retro dedicated to the Mr. New York. The Nike Sky Force Mid Spike Lee edition follows a white/lucky green-black-beet colorway, and showcases the iconic glasses tongue tag logo. The full white leather upper is offset by a lucky green swoosh and beet red patent back heel panel. A black outsole matches the laces and inner lining, where “Brooklyn” is placed at the opposite side of the tongue tag. This Sky Force is available now for under retail on eBay now.

Every year, Nike participates in the romantic American holiday known as St. Valentine’s Day, February 14th. For 2010, Nike has given the Nike Dynasty a lovely makeover in two colorways. The Nike Dynasty Hi comes in varsity red/metallic gold-white-black and turquoise green/metallic silver-white-black. Both shoes feature patent leather uppers and metallic leather swooshes, and are endowed with hearts stitched at the strap to subtly represent the romantic day. One of Sir Charles’s greatest signature shoes with Nike is making a comeback, paying homage to Charles Barkley’s time at the Phoenix Suns. The Nike Air CB 34 Retro comes in a black/orange-purple colorway, using black leather and nubuck on the upper, along with white perforated leather panels. The orange/purple sole makes this shoe stand out properly for any Phoenix fan. The insole also features a printed desert landscape using the ideal colors to finish off this classic basketball shoe. 2010 is in for a carnivorous treat, as Nike is setting in motion the re-release of the classic Nike Air Carnivore. The Nike Air Carnivore Retro comes in a gaudy throwback colorway that really speaks old school Nike. The hightop shoe compiles nubuck, mesh, and neoprene with black, green, and purple colors.
