Last we heard of the Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 there was an “Electric Green” colorway getting ready to drop on us. The shoe seems to include white leather and mesh, while hints of grey suede and black accents finish off is, personally, my favorite color scheme to rock because of my San Antonio Spurs fanhood. Even the sole comes in the aforementioned mix of white/grey/black materials. Slated to come out next Spring, are these in the running (pun intended) for best Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 retro release so far?

We know that Nike’s shaping up to drop some Nike Air Hoop Structure Lows next summer. But now we also have a shot of a Nike Air Structure scheduled to drop a season earlier than that. The Nike Air Structure pictured here sports a predominantly black base with both red and pink accents throughout the sole, heel and laces. It’s also composed of suede and mesh material with an infrared air bubble that matches the rest of the shoe’s accents. Originally released in 1991, the Nike Air Structure is plans to make at least a moderately successful return with classic colorways like this one. Be sure to stay on top of your local Nike retailers come next spring if these seem to peak your sneaker taste buds.

For NY Knicks and Mets fans, the White/Grey/Orange Nike Air Trainer SC High’s recently made available must have been a welcome release. Nike seems poised to help this iconic sneaker’s success continue with at least two more colorways slated to release next summer. The first colorway pictured here sports a predominantly white base with navy blue and grey accents, while the second pair of Nike Air Trainer SC High’s contains the same white base with red and dark grey accents. Earlier this year Nike bestowed upon us once again the Nike Air Penny III in its classic royal blue colorway. Orlando Magic fans and players alike were quick to rock a pair of these on and off the court. In the summer of 2010, however, fans of the Penny III’s might have two new colorways to choose from. The first pair pictured here comes in a predominantly red colorway with white and black accents. A second pair that will hopefully drop consists of a predominantly purple colorway also with white and black accents sure to appease fans of purple, like yours truly. Keep your fingers and whatever else you can crossed if you too hope that Nike in fact comes out with these in the summer of 2010.

Unless you sneakerheads lived under a rock this year, you inevitably came across one of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1’s that produced quite a stir and answered many of your prayers. I, myself, don’t mind waiting another summer to have mine answered. In the summer of 2010 Nike will retro the Nike Air Griffey Max GD II i fell in love with when it first came out nearly ten years ago. I still rock my White-Black/Red pair- rocking them last on July 4th as we celebrated the US’s independence day. Slated to release next summer are two colorways: one with a predominantly black base that also sports red accents and one with a predominantly white base that sports subtle black and grey accents. While 2010 has a couple of eye-catching and head-turning releases in store, such as the Vandal Hi Nylon sneakers, news of more classic releases is surfacing. Both Nike Carnivores pictured here are tentatively releasing next summer, meaning the shoe will be retroed for the first time since they came out seventeen years ago in 1993. The first shoe pictured sports a black/purple/sea blue colorway, while the second consists of a black/red/brown colorway. How many of you out there will at least try a pair of these on?
