Model: Bathing Ape (Bapes) - Bathing Ape Crepes
Original Release: 2000's
Updates: Bape News
Bathing Ape Crepes are one of Bapes newer additions to the shoe family. Using the famous Puma Clyde body these are very similar, the only main difference would be the Sta going across the side that all Bape fiends love.
Bathing Ape Crepes
Crepes first released in 2005 and were not much of a success compared to other hyped up Bapes, of course they sold out, but not as quickly as the camo colors and other stuff like that. They were only available in Suede, which for those of you that hate the creasing of Bapes, is a good thing, they do not crease much and are a nice casual shoe seeing as they are not the regular wild color ways, only subtle ones.
Bape Crepes will run you the same as most Bapes, anywhere from about $160 in Japan to $190 NYC for a new pair. Be careful if you are getting them less than that, as if they are new they will most likely be fake. The going rate for a legitimate pair is about $180-$220 on Ebay plus your shipping costs. Ebay sellers such as pondon and plainflour have a fair selection.
Overall Bathing Ape Crepes are a great shoe for just your normal wear, not too flashy, not to plain, a nice causal kick around shoe.
