In September 1957, Vaughn Bode designed a unique little wizard who wore a huge yellow hat covered with red and black stars that became the infamous Cheech Wizard.
Today, Bode is still one of the most influential American cartoonists of our time, inspiring graffiti art worldwide with his iconic bright colors, letters and star patterns thanks to Cheech. On the 50th Birthday of his Cheech Wizard character, PUMA pays homage to Vaughn Bode with the limited edition Vaughn Bode Clyde. Check out the installation at Boston’s BODEGA!
