First previewed back in December, we finally have official photos of the Nike SB Dunk High “Red Packet”. For those who don’t know the significance of the “red packet”, it is a little red envelope passed out during Chinese New Year and it is a sign of immediate good fortune. A Chinese tradition practiced every year is the inspiration for this Nike SB sneaker. These Dunk Highs feature a rich red upper with strong hints to gold on the Swoosh, inner lining, medallion piece on the laces, and the glitter used on the translucent outsole.
A release date hasn’t been set, but we have a feeling Nike will release these right around the Chinese New Year, which falls in early February. Stay tuned for Sneakerfiles for more information.
