Not until the arrival of the current Nike Kobe 9, the Nike Kobe VIII (8) was as good as it got for Kobe heads. With colorways like the “What The Kobe” and “Prelude“, it was disheartening for most collectors to say goodbye to such a glorious shoe.
Ironically, Nike released this “Last Chapter” promo sample to select friends and family as well. Set in a snowflake white motif, these signature kicks don summit white uppers, hints of metallic silver, and sit atop an ice blue translucent outsole. Notable details of this sample also include the words “Last” and “Chapter” inscribed behind each tongue; hopefully this doesn’t make reference to Kobe’s playing days, man!
