Remember those torpedo heads with the grinning shark stretched along the side? Look at the Bathing Ape 1st Camo Shark Ape Stas, to get a better idea of what that looks like. You’ve probably seen the crazed looking shark on more than just explosives, like on 18-wheelers or buses, but now Chinese custom sneaker artist, Hanzi Custom, is centering a new custom creation based on the graphic.

The Air Jordan XII (12) “Shark Battle Plane” customs by Hanzi Custom feature a desert camo and red colorway with the shark graphic on the base of the upper. The use of the red panels and the neutral tones of the camouflage are reminiscent of the super popular AJ12 Cherry shoes. The desert camo spreads along the shell-like panels up top on the uppers, with the shark face swooping in on the red panels on the lower portion of the shoes.

For a touch of accents, gold hardware takes it’s place at the top of the lacing. Coordinating with the red, Air Jordan branding finishes off these customs shoes. These Hanzi Custom AJ12s are sweet, and the design is very original. Check out more of Hanzi Custom’s work on Instagram, and look at some extra photos down below! What do you think of the Air Jordan XII (12) “Shark Battle Plane” customs?
