Ever since the last official restock of the Air Jordan IV (4) “Military Blue” shoes back in 2012, sneakerheads have been seeking out pairs of these from resellers and at sneaker events across the world. Now, Indianapolis-based custom sneaker artist, Reheat Customs, is taking on a personal project with the AJ4, putting some simple but unique touches to these highly sought after kicks. The Air Jordan IV (4) “Dirty Military” customs by Reheat Customs see the addition of black on the uppers, with a solid blue midsole and aqua toned accents. By painting the uppers black, the original details of the shoes are given new life, which can be noticed with the strict contrast of the white overlays and mesh with the black leather base. The electric aqua blue used on the rear of the shoe match the aqua lining throughout the shoes. Branding and logos are kept in the original white. Nicely done, if you ask me! Would you cop the Dirty Military AJ4s from Reheat Customs if they were a general release?
