Under Armour and Kemba Walker recently teamed up with NBA Fit to refurbish a basketball court in Charlotte for the city’s youth.
Under Armour & Charlotte Bobcats / former UCONN Huskies star KEMBA WALKER helped dedicate a new basketball court for inner city CHARLOTTE kids at the MILTON ROAD BOYS & GIRLS CLUB – which serves over 2000 local youth. At the ceremonies, KEMBA shot hoops with the kids and encouraged them to live a healthy lifestyle.
The court refurbishment in Charlotte is part of Under Armour and the NBA FIT’s five city initiative to repair and rejuvenate basketball facilities for inner city youth Under Armour and the NBA commenced this campaign in Baltimore at the Madison Square Recreation Center with a refurbished court dedicated with the help of NBA legend and Baltimore native Muggsy Bogues. In Philadelphia, local basketball star Bo Kimble co-hosted the Roxborough YMCA’s renovation. Courts in Houston and Newark will also be improved.
