Swooshless Air Jordan 1 Banned Custom The Shoe Surgeon

On Saturday, Jordan Brand released the ‘Banned’ Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG which sold-out the same day. Customizer The Shoe Surgeon was able to get his hands on a few pairs to recreate the launch to his liking.

There is a few elements that traditionally lands on the Air Jordan 1 that can be seen on the latest Banned release like the Wings and Nike Swoosh on the sides. What The Shoe Surgeon did was remove the Swoosh on the side as well as the Wings for a smooth canvas. He has also added his branding across the tongue, which means he also removed the Nike Air tag.

While Jordan Brand has released a few Swooshless Jordan 1 models in the past known as No Swoosh, they still had Nike Air branding.

Below you can check out more images of the custom Swooshless Air Jordan 1 Banned by The Shoe Surgeon. Although everything he removed points to the history and the actual brand, what are your thoughts on this custom? To check out more of his work, visit his Instagram by clicking here.
