Swizz Beatz Welcomes Shaq Back to Reebok, Announces Shaq Attaq Retro

Long-rumored, Swizz Beatz took to twitter tonight to announce that Shaquille O’Neal will be returning to Reebok alongside a retro release of the beloved Reebok Shaq Attaq.

Worn by Shaq in his 1992-1993 rookie season in Orlando on his way to averages of 23.4 points, 13.9 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game, a field goal percentage of 56.2%,  Rookie of the Year honors and a 20-win improvement for the Magic over the previous season, the kicks feature a leather, nylon and suede upper with Reebok’s patented PUMP system.

Seen here in the Orlando “Home” colorway, expect a release sometime in the next few months – likely in time for Spring 2013.

  1. I don’t know how did they manage to pull that one off since Shaq is holding the rights for the logo, but I am defiantly buying 2 of these!
