The Nike Zoom Sharkalaid has been fitted with two special player specific colorways for the 2009-2010 NBA season, one for Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz, the other for Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzlies. Utilizing the Jazz and Grizzlies color pallets, both models feature predominantly patent leather uppers, as well as translucent outsoles and each player’s logo on the tongue. You can find either version of the Zoom Sharkalaid at House of Hoops locations now.

Today we have a first look at the Nike Transformers II Pack, which is composed of three sneakers directly inspired by the hit movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This pack is composed of the Nike Zoom Flight Club, Zoom Sharkalaid, and Zoom Fun Police, but unfortunately we only have pictures of two of the three sneakers to share. The Fun Police from this pack is inspired by Bumblebee, and it hosts a yellow upper with black and silver accents. The Zoom Sharkalaid, inspired by Soundwave, yields a blue upper with white, yellow, and red accents. The Nike Transformers II Pack will release in special action figure inspired boxes this Summer.

We originally previewed the Nike Zoom Sharkalaid back in December ’08, and we now have our first look at some real images of Nike’s newest hybrid basketball sneaker. The Zoom Sharkalaid meshes together components of the Nike Zoom Sharkley, Nike Air Shake and the Nike Air Raid. This pair hosts a black leather upper with varsity red accents seen on the sole, straps, and tongue, while white accents are visible via the mid-sole, out-sole, stitching on the straps, and the swoosh. The Nike Zoom Sharkalaid – Black/White-Varsity Red is now available overseas and should be hitting stateside this summer.
