Back in April, we first previewed the “Draft Day” Nike Zoom Kobe 4 (IV), which is meant to celebrate the Charlotte Hornets’ decision to draft Kobe Bryant as the 13th pick in ’96, and we are now receiving word that the sneaker has begun to arrive at retailers. This edition of the ZK4 hosts a rather colorful and bright style via the white leather upper with varsity purple and orion blue accents. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) “Philly” borrows from Kobe’s birthplace – Philadelphia. The shoe features a patriotic blue/red/white upper with splashes of patent leather and Flywire. The shoe’s ankle collar is finished off by a reflective star pattern. Details include “8-23-78″ (KB’s date of birth) stamped onto the sockliner and “23″ burned on the heel. A release date for the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) “Philly” has not been confirmed, but you can expect them to hit retailers in limited numbers on or near Bryant’s birthday.

Kobe Bryant put on a show last night with his 40 points as the Lakers cruised by the Magic with a 100-75 win in game 1 of the NBA Finals. Though his performance was stellar, his sneakers weren’t too bad either. Last night, Kobe laced up a new colorway of his signature sneaker, the  Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4). Though Kobe has worn a plethora of GR colorways upto now, he walked onto the court last night with a special, Kobe exclusive ZKIV. This pair featured a white base with forum blue accents seen on the mid-sole, heel, inner lining, and toe box, while gold accents are visible via the out-sole, the Kobe signature, the logo on the tongue, and the text on the sneaker which refers back to some of Kobe’s accomplishments, such as his 61 point performance at Madison Square Garden earlier this year. Unfortunately, these will most likely never make their way to retailers, but be sure to check back to see what Kobe will be rocking in games 3 and 4.

After seeing the full collection of the fourth installment of the reigning MVP’s line with Nike, two of the Zoom Kobe 4′s has surfaced the internet. Marquee Sole has both the West Coast and white/purple models available in selected sizes. The West Coast Zoom Kobe 4 sports a black/varsity purple/medium grey, while the tongue consists of the words “Carpe Diem” and 97/09. Here’s a look at the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 slated to release next year. The veteran embarks on the 4th installment of his Zoom line with Nike, a series of sneakers that have been showcased by Kobe for a few years.

Kobe Bryant’s latest signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 isn’t set to release till next year, but as usual Marquee Sole has got their hands on a few sizes. As mentioned before, the Zoom Kobe 4 is a low-cut sneaker that looks similar to Nike’s Hyperdunk, but has a few modifications.

The sneakers have been fit to for Kobe team colors and consists of black, white and maize. Furthermore, the sneakers are hit with Kobe Bryant’s branding including his logo on the tongue and his signature at the heel. Via Marquee Sole
