To go along with the White/Gold Air Jordan XX3 (23) Unreleased Sample, these Air Jordan XX3 (23) samples are also of the unreleased variety. First up is a XX3 that features a titanium upper, black midsole TPU wrap, and white toecap. The shoe’s upper is complimented by a university blue/varsity white computerized stitch pattern. The other pair is clothed in the exact same upper but is characterized by a black ankle collar and titanium blue ankle collar. Both samples draw a strong resemblance to the Air Jordan XX3 (23) Premier White/Titanium – University Blue, but I’m glad these didn’t release–the color schemes just ain’t vibing in my opinion. Michael Jordan wore this (allegedly) 1-of-1 White/Gold Air Jordan XX3 (23) during some drills at his Jordan Brand Flight School Camp. The shoe’s stitched upper is reminiscent of the pattern found on the Air Jordan XX3 (23) Old Love White/Varsity Red – Metallic Silver pair. A varsity gold TPU wrap supports the foot on quick cuts and offers visual balance. This Air Jordan XX3 (23) White/Gold will probably never leave the Beaverton campus or MJ’s closet. The time as finally come for the Air Jordan XX3 (23) to take its seat amongst some of the greatest sneakers of all time.

Jordan Brand began releasing the Air Jordan XX3 on January 25, 2009 with the extremely limited and sought after Premier White / Titanium – University Blue colorway which can now be bought for upwards of $1,500. In order to end the installment of Air Jordan 23 releases, Jordan Brand will once again release a colorway which will only be available at 23 stores across the U.S. and each store will only have 23 pairs. Jordan Brand’s official website, Air Jordan Flight Club, is also set to have an extremely limited amount of pairs available on the release date, December 23, 2008.

This brings the grand total to only 529 pairs of the Air Jordan XX3 (23) Premier – Black / Varsity Red being released. Featuring the black and varsity red colorway to commemorate Jordan’s success with the Chicago Bulls, this pair is a great way to say farewell to the year long installment of Air Jordan XX3 releases. Getting your hands on a pair of these will most definitely prove to be a difficult task, but we’re here to help. Below, you can check out the official list of the 23 stores that will be receiving the Air Jordan XX3 (23) Premier – Black / Varsity Red. On December 10, 2008, the New Orleans Hornets faced off against the Charlotte Bobcats at the New Orleans Arena. The regular season matchup celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the New Orleans franchise. To commemorate the occasion, the team suited up in New Orleans Buccaneers uniforms, the city’s original team. Jordan Brand created a player exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 23 (XX3) for devilishly quick point guard Chris Paul to sport for the occasion. This player exclusive colorway features a red upper with a white midsole, white shoe lace region, and the typical Air Jordan XX3 side pattern in white. This edition of “On Court” features a key matchup between Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. No, we’re not discussing which is the better athlete, but rather who looked better in regard to sneakers when the New Orleans Hornets faced off against the Denver Nuggets on Thanksgiving Day. Chris Paul stepped onto the courts with an Air Jordan XX3 Player Exclusive very similar to the Air Jordan XX3 inspired by the University of North Carolina which was released on November 28, 2008.  On the other side of the court, Carmelo Anthony was seen wearing a player exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan Melo M5, Carmelo’s newest signature sneaker. This colorway will most likely not be released to the public and will stay in Anthony’s personal sneaker vault. Developing into his new love, Michael Jordan grew so fond of this sport he created the Jordan Motorsports team which has its own team of Suzuki riders who are even outfitted with elephant print helmets. Combining his two loves, the Air Jordan XX3 seen above is made up of the team’s black, white and varsity royal palette. Just like month we reported the All American Classic Air Jordan XX3 (23), special make-ups of the XX3 created for the Jordan Brand All American games in April. Player exclusive models were 10 pairs were issue to the participants in the games.
