Several of Nike’s releases for next year will consist of the unmistakable Safari print that has already appeared on the Terminator High, Air Max 1 and Dunk High Safari. In addition to these models, Nike will be releasing a pack of Air Max 1 NDs just for women. The pack is made up of four different styles including black/red, white/turquoise, red/blue and purple/orange. Each sneaker will feature safari print on the side and heel. We gave you a preview of this pair of Nike Dunk High’s last month. At that time, we were unsure of a price, a release date, and for what gender these are made for, but all that has now changed. The multicolored Nike Dunk High featured above is made exclusively for the ladies and will hit Nike retailers in early January of 2009. Yielding an upper composed of varsity red, rave pink, bronze, light green, and turquoise, this sneaker deviates from the simple look we are used to seeing on women’s Nike Dunks. The use of a clean white swoosh and a white toebox complete this pair by adding the finishing touches needed to contrast the rest of the multicolored upper. Earlier this month, we showcased the two men’s colorways of the Air Jordan Retro 1 (I) Mid – Hare and we now have pictures of a colorway of an Air Jordan 1 (I) made exclusively for the female sneaker aficionados. Featuring the popular hare colorway seen on the Air Jordan 7 (VII), this pair is most definitely one of the better women’s sneakers we have seen in a while.  Yielding a light brown tonal upper and a white midsole, this pair’s inspiration from the hare colorway is immediately apparent. The use of a pink swoosh and pink laces give this sneaker the feminine look desired by most women. Nike will be opening their vault of sneakers from the 90’s and will be releasing the Air Digs, a Women’s volleyball sneaker that dates back to 1991. This blast from the past sneaker is composed of bright pink and turquoise along with gum on the sole. Aside from eye-catching colors, the Air Digs features a variety of materials and textures defining this sneaker as anything but ordinary. It is becoming quite evident as of late that Nike Sportswear is aiming towards making sneakers for the ladies that provide both comfort and style. Alongside the “Skinny” Dunk Highs previewed yesterday, Nike will also be releasing these two pairs of Air Max 90’s for the female sneakerheads. Both these pairs of Nike’s classic model, the Air Max 90, feature two of the most sought after materials on sneakers—patent leather and mesh. With the use of mesh on the toebox and the ankle support, this pair will definitely provide an extreme level of flexibility and comfort. The first colorway of the two yields a bright yellow base with a white swoosh, midsole, heel, and shoe lace region. The second colorway is extremely similar to the first with the exception of the use of purple instead of yellow. Expect both these pairs to be at your local Nike retailers in Spring 2009.
