Wale is no newcomer when it comes to the sneaker game. Over time he’s proven himself to be worthy of all praise or having gained respect from others, especially with sneakers like the Air Jordan VI from the 2006 Defining Moments Pack.

Wearing one half of one of the most pivotal sneakers to come included in a Jordan Package to date, Wale sits cool, calm, and collected before hitting the stage to perform. Wale is just as serious about his music career as he is about his sneaker game and he’s not kidding here as he fools around by doing a handstand in the beloved 2002 black and red Nike SB Dunk Low Supreme which includes the iconic elephant print upper and the recently released Nike Air Mag.

While Wale continues on his Ambition Tour promoting his latest album, “Ambition,” the DC rapper is making sure to stay laced up in only the fliest of kicks available. As he’s usually seen in early releases and ultra limited exclusives, Wale shows off his pair of Nike LeBron 8 DJ Clark Kent “112″ sneakers while aboard his tour bus.

Limited to only a “friends and family” release, Wale snagged a pair of the kicks that sport signature “112″ branding, 3M, black nubuck, elephant print, and neon yellow color blocking. Wale recently hit stage in the Air Jordan IV (4) Doernbecher on Fuel Tv’s The Daily Habit show to perform his hit single “Bait” off of his Ambition album that is now in stores.

Earlier we showed you what Kevin Durant chose to wear for last night’s Rip City Basketball Classic hosted by LaMarcus Aldridge. Kevin Durant brought out everyone’s favorite, the Nike Zoom KD IV “Nerf”. Somehow, Wale already got his pair and wore it proudly. With a release that should happen sometime in November, the hype surrounding the Nike Zoom KD IV “Nerf” may have just been increased considerably thanks to Wale.

As the weather gets colder on the east coast, even celebrities recognize the need to update their kicks selection.

Wale took to twitter earlier today to post a pic of himself chillin’ in New York City in the beechtree/dark army Air Force 1 Duckboot.  The kicks are currently available at select Nike Sportswear accounts.
