This Saturday at House of Hoops locations only, the Nike Air Penny 3 LE will be available to the public in a completely new colorway. The Nike Air Penny 3 LE has a soft Varsity Royal nubuck upper and a Varsity Royal ripstop nylon base as well. Coming up from down the midsole to the top of the shoe is foamposite material in Black. The laces, the Penny logo, and the swoosh are also Black while the Air Max bubble in the midsole is Varsity Royal. Finally, the shoe also features White contrast stitching throughout which compliments the rich nubuck very well to complete the shoe.

Jordan Brand has released another colorway for its up-and-coming model, the Air Jordan Schoolin’. This time, the Schoolin’ comes in a black/varsity royal-white colorway, definitely taking after its numbered predecessor. The shoe features a black leather upper with a black nubuck panel that sports a sweet modern design accentuated by varsity royal stitching. The black upper is contrasted by a white midsole which sits atop a black outsole. The inner lining is filled with varsity royal blue to match the Jordan symbol at the heel. This shoe is out for $105, so be sure to show these off at the courts.

With the successful release of the “Fresh Water” Nike Air Griffey Max 1 behind us, Nike is set to release the Griffey Max 1 in a new colorway. This new style hosts a varsity royal upper accented by a white stripe, a black swoosh, white midsole, black outsole, and lime green hints. To many sneakerheads, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is a great sneaker to have in their collection due to its old school roots as well as its clean look. Mixing together the best features of the Air Jordan XVI (16) and Air Jordan XVII (17), Jordan Brand reveals the Air Jordan 16.5, their latest hybrid project. The midsole area comes right from the AJ 16, while the lacelets come from the AJ 17. An interesting added detail is that “XV1.5″ is above the toebox, symbolizing this hybrid. These will be dropping later on this year exclusively at Foot Locker, so be sure to keep these on your radar. Are these one of the better Jordan hybrids out?

The next in the line-up of Nike Air Huarache-inspired shoes is the Nike Air Max 90 Premium in the classic mean green colorway. Along with the mean green patent leather panel, the shoe uses a premium white leather upper, midsole, and sole to complement the mean green and varsity royal found throughout the shoe. This AM90 is great for any classic Nike collector, because it follows the bloodline of the Air Huarache made in the latter of the 20th century. Certainly this shoe brings back memories, except for that of the price, which is about $80.
