Last year, Japanese sneaker aficionado Silas collaborated with Vans to result in a Black-Turquoise Sk8 High- which was also a part of Vans’ 30th year anniversary. In 2009, the two went at it again. This time, the resulting Vans Sk8 High consists of a repeating white/black pattern along the side with red accents and the patented all-white sole. A very select group of Silas retailers received this Vans Sk8 High in late August- so, unless you know of a Silas retailer AND it happens to have these in stock, your best bet might be searching for these online. Happy hunting!

From the looks of things, Vans has big plans for the near future. It definitely plans to catch the attention of many with the LX Pack- but it has no intentions of stopping there. Teaming up with Japanese retailer Flauge, Vans is preparing to drop another pack- this time consisting of a Sk8 Hi and an Era. Both shoes sport a navy blue and yellow colorway, with white accents seen most notably on the completely white sole Vans has become somewhat known for. With a rumored release date that is quickly approaching, make sure to stay on top of your local Vans retailers in order to disallow one or both of these shoes from slipping away.

VansParachutePurple

A large part of the success experienced by the Vans brand stems from the number of different models this comfortable shoe line has brought into creation. This August, Vans is welcoming the beginning of summer’s end with two colorways on two refreshed pair of favorites: the Sk8 Hi and the Authentic Lo Pro.

The first colorway is officially made up of “parachute purple” with white accents and the second of “chilli pepper” with white accents. Of particular interest with this release is what resembles crocodile/snake skin on both shoe models. As often is the case, these colorways and models are going to be “hate it or love it” for many. But what are your thoughts on the topic? You can pick any or all of the sneakers in this pack up at select Vans retailers now.
