Just before the Halloween celebration commenced, we brought you a look at a Vans Half Cab LX “Black Binding,” which sported thick white piping throughout a black nubuck upper. This time around, Vans Vault has prepared a pair of the Era that will surely remind you of the aforementioned Half Cab. However, this shoe is a low-cut design and is made of black suede as opposed to nubuck. Moreover, the piping throughout this sneaker is a lot more subtle than on the Half Cab. Which pair of Vans releases using “piping” do you like better? These are already beginning to become available through select Vans retailers.

Usually, collaborations boost shoe sales by making shoes look better. The latest collaboration by Vans not only makes a pair of Vans look good, but have better quality as well. Vans Vault teamed up with KnollTextiles, a material manufacturing company that specializes in top of the notch material. The Knoll x Vans Vault Mountain Edition High LX is the finest of Vans, coming in four tonal colorways that utilize the best material Knoll has. The Mountain Edition High comes in purple, blue, olive, and black, with uppers that feel like some durable synthetic material close to vinyl. Each shoe sports a brown leather logo side panel and white midsole to make these some clean colorways. Look out for a release in Spring 2010.

We last saw a preview of the Vans Vault Chukka Del Barco LX earlier this year. Today, the Vans Fall/Winter 2009 Chukka Del Barco collection is out, in two colorways for each of the Chukka Del Barco LX and Chukka Del Barco Low LX. A black colorway takes over the mid and lowtop, using black nubuck and leather with orange accents and a sweet tongue tag design. The white colorway is offset by blue tones on the logos and insole, along with the same tongue tag. The Lows are available for about $130, while the mids have a price of $150. Both are available now overseas.

In August, we brought you an early look at a Chukka Mok Collection to be released sometime in the fall. Well, we now bring you word that the Vans Vault crew has begun to release these shoes, and we bring you a look at the complete collection. You already saw the two high-top pairs coming in brown and black. We also have pictures of their complementary low-top Chukka models. Every shoe comes with suede uppers, white soles, and a stitching pattern that meets between the sole and upper and runs around the entire shoe. As we mentioned before, this Mok collection is here just in time to help with the season’s frigid weather. Check-in with your local Vans retailers to get your hands on these.

We last saw the Vans Vault Chukka Moc in brown and black colorways, but the simple colorways have risen again on the Vans Vault Chukka Moc LX. Once again, the shoes use suede uppers in their respective colorways, with white midsoles. The major difference that these Chukkas have with the others is the leather panel where the airholes are placed on the inner sides of the shoes. Of course, the toes feature moccasin-style stitching, making this an iconic shoe. These are available now for this holiday season.
