After previewing the Knoll x Vans Mountain Edition, Vans has rolled out another release for the hightop model. The Vans Syndicate Mountain Edition Mid S also contracts some heavy material hitters, using ballistic nylon mesh and Wolverine leather on the uppers of the warrior/black and warrior/khaki colorways. Waterproof pigskin nubuck and OUTLAST inner lining are also added to the mix, making this shoe a mouthful to say when reading off the list of materials used. These Mountain Editions are built to withstand the harsh winter season, and run in a limited quantity, for $110 each.

For Spring 2009, Vans partnered up with legendary boarder Eric Dressen to release three limited versions of the Syndicate Half Cab. The packaged collaboration borrows inspiration from the fedora or flat-brimmed hat. Each model is blessed with luxurious felt overlays, a ribbon quarter panel, and gold-leaf custom lining. The Eric Dressen Half Cab “S” is available in black, brown and gray and will be released at premium retailers beginning of March. Via hs.

Jason Jesse is no new name when it comes to designing Vans. He has designed many pairs before and is back at it again designing a pair of Vans Syndicate. This pair features a full black leather upper with white accents and a white outsole. Caramel colored piping is seen above the outsole and goes around the whole shoe. Mobility and comfort is definitely included in this pair through the the V-shaped cutoff at the heel and a comfortable leather insole. Vans is constantly updating their list of projects this year with the addition of the latest creations involving Gave Morford, a well known photographer who is linked with Mash SF. Coming out of the Syndicate side of things, the Half Cab and Era are included in the pack, each crafted with premium materials, a great amount of details, a great combination to create two sleek looking styles. Based off Mexican cowboys, the Half Cabs are made up of a suede upper along with embroidery around the ankle, a simple and classy approach by Vans.
