Of course, January means that Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and we’ve already seen some commemorative Nike heat by way of a Nike Air Force 1 low. And now it’s time to show you the Nike Dunk high QS “Armor” pictured here and designed for the ladies. It comes with an official sail/black-varsity red colorway and reads “Amor,” (which is “love” in spanish) throughout the upper. This could be a nice Valentine’s Day alternative to the usually drenched in red silhouettes that pop up. Expect these to hit retailers soon given that the holiday is only a little over a month away.

Last month we got a first look at the Supra Skytop set for a Valentine’s Day 2010 release. Now, we have word that the Supra Skytop Heartbreaker 413 Edition will release exclusively at the Factory413 store at noon PST this Saturday, February 13th, followed by an online release at 3pm PST. The Skytop feautres a full red canvas upper, white midsole, and matching red outsole to get you in the romantic spirit. A fitting heartbreaker hangtag is added to the shoe to complete the theme. These heartbreakers will retail for $120 each, and will only be sold in a quantity of 1000, so be sure to snag ‘em quickly!

Valentine’s Day calls for many sneaker brands to produce some festive shoes to celebrate the romantic day. Vans is taking part in the celebration with the release of the Vans V2041 Hi VL and Vans Sk8-Hi, which sport white/red colorways to match the Valentine’s Day theme. The hightop shoes use full white leather and patent uppers, complete with quilted patterns on the toebox and side panel. Red contrasts the white upper and midsole on the outsole, stitching, tongue, and inner lining. A cute Vans heart logo covers the tongue to finish off this shoe fit for cupid. You can grab a pair of these Vans online overseas for $102 each.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Nike have unleashed another commemorative sneaker to set the mood right. The Nike Women’s Blazer High comes in a black/plaid/white/red colorway with a hint of purple on the plaid and stitching. The toe is donned in black patent to match the lace area, while the swoosh is set in white leather to match the white/red midsole. A special heart symbol is placed at the tongue tag to represent the infamous day of love. You can cop a pair for that special lady on eBay now for $60.

Brands have been using holidays (large and small) as inspiration for certain sneaker colorways and models. adidas, for example, recently prepared a Superstar II in which to celebrate Christmas. But the shoes pictured here are perhaps a part of a holiday still far away. We bring you shots of a Nike Court Force and Vandal that are rumored as being part of 2010′s Valentine’s Day collection. Both shoes come in a high-top model, with the Court Force upper consisting of both patent leather and plaid. Moreover, the Court Force has a heart sketched onto the tongue- a good indication of the holiday it might be released during. The Vandal also consists of a plaid patterning on both the mid panels and the toe box, with a touch of patent leather lining. If these are in fact part of Nike’s Valentine’s Day collection next year, they definitely stray from the conventional pink/red/white colorways, but is that necessarily a bad thing? How do you sneakerheads feel with respect to these two pairs of Nike sneakers?

Nike is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a grade school-sized white/vivid pink version of the Air Force 1. The shoe is an exercise in patent and premium leathers, but it’s the translucent outsole and “I Love Nike” (Pretentious, much?) printed underneath. And in case you missed it, the V-Day ’09 AF1 incorporates a chorme-backed, heart-shaped lacelocks. The Nike Air Force 1 GS Valentine’s Day 2009 will be available in early February at most Nike Sportswear retailers but they’re available now on eBay.
