El Cappy is at it again. This time, with the Air Jordan VI (6) Retro, which has been a popular canvas for custom work as of late.

This model was inspired by the popular ‘True Blue’ colorway, that’s rocked with the Air Jordan III for over 20 years. Everything from the elephant print, the color blocking and even the red lace rings bring this classic to life.

Unike the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’ which surprised many of us without notice, we can give you the heads up that the Air Jordan III (3) ‘True Blue’ will be available by the end of the week at select locations across the US. This little pleasant surprise for the AJ III is something that alot of sneakerheads can look forward to. So don’t sleep! Be sure to hit the outlets and check to see if these have hit the shelves!

In a few short weeks, the Air Jordan III Retro will make it’s presence on the shelves in the classic True Blue colorway. As we’ve seen so far in many pictures, with minor changes in appearance since the OG, the True Blue stays “true” otherwise, with the classic white leather upper, elephant print trim and True Blue accents. Adding to the nostalgic feel of the release, following the footsteps of this year’s Air Jordan III ‘Cement’, the drop comes with the classic Jordan III box, hang tag and flash card. The Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’ has been rumored to be releasing stateside starting Summer 2011. We all know how Jordan Brand likes to tease us with releases so until a confirmation has been made it remains as just a rumor at this time.

However, VMVinc has just restocked on a full size run of the popular retro model. They are listed at $200, shipping is a little pricey, but it still beats reseller prices on Ebay.

Last week we confirmed rumors that the Air Jordan III (3) True Blue will hit shelves this coming August. But, there’s a new twist to the drop – cats on the various sneaker forums are claiming the TB III will be an International release only. ‘Heads in Europe and Asia rejoice…maybe. There has been much hype surrounding the re-release of the Air Jordan 3 Retro – True Blues. These sneakers were at first a rumor, but an August release has been confirmed. New, better detailed images have now been released for these classics. No major differences are noticed between the August release and the previous retro. For those of you who don’t want to wait in line for these instant sellouts, VMV Inc. has these on sale right now as a pre-release for a price of $250.

Back in February 2009, we confirmed the rumors that the “True Blue” Air Jordan III (3) would be releasing in August, and we now have pictures of the actual sneaker to share. As most already know, this style of the Air Jordan 3 features a white leather upper with true blue accents on the mid-sole, inner lining, and lace region, while cement print is placed on the heel, lace region, and toecap. As of now, no major differences between the re-retro and the retro release can be spotted, but only time will tell how Jordan Brand decides to release this extremely sought after sneaker. The Air Jordan Retro III (3) True Blue currently has a tentative release month of August 2009, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.
