There hasn’t been much talk about Jordan Brand’s Jeter line; nonetheless, Derek Jeter’s signature JB line is still going with its latest release: the Jordan Jeter Captain, in black/white/metallic silver. The trainer shoe features a black leather and synthetic leather upper contrasted by a black and white midsole and sole. The upper styles a white pinstripe pattern to give that baseball uniform look, and of course, the Jordan symbol is found on the side to let baseball fans know how JB does. These trainer’s go for $110 on Footlocker.

Possibly the next hybrid? Well not for sure just yet, but here is an incredible concept of a new hybrid consisting of the Nike Air Max 90 and Trainer called “Nike Air Max Trainer 90″. At a first glance, this hybrid looks like it has more characteristics from the Air Max 90 than the Trainer. Dipped in the true AM 90 classic infrared colorway, only time will tell if Nike will create this model. Via Weekly Drop and Cellophane.

Despite a collaboration with Supreme, the Nike SB Air Trainer 2 has been limited to just a few colorways, but it is time for another pair to release this time featuring a black, white and pink colorway. The sneakers sport mostly black on the upper which includes, perforated leather, suede and mesh. The rest of the Air Trainer 2 is made up of white on the midsole and finished off with pink accents and sole. There is no word of an official release date yet, but this model has appeared on an overseas website. Stay posted for more details and a release date update

Though we are only embarking on the second month of 2009, we are already seeing previews of sneakers that are set to release in Fall of this year. It seems as though Nike has been doing their research as of late and has finally figured out what it is that the sneakerheads truly want. Ranging from the Total Orange colorway of the Nike Air Trainer SC all the way to the “Medicine Ball” Nike Air Trainer III, we will definitely be seeing our fair share of original Nike colorways in this upcoming year. To contrast with these OG colorways, Nike will also be releasing a new Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid colorway and several womens Safari Air Max 1s.
