Japanese fashion brand Swagger recently collaborated with Nike to produce two distinctively unique versions of the Nike Terminator Hi. The pair was created in celebration of Swagger’s 10th Anniversary and is inspired by mint flavoring and dark chocolate. Both pairs are loaded down with a faux crocodile print upper, and though each shoe differs when hue is taken into consideration, they will be sold together as one pair! The Swagger x Nike Terminator Hi Supreme will retail this weekend at Swagger’s flagship store. Due to their popularity, there’s rumors that the shoe will hit the States for $140 a pop.

Though the Terminator is not as popular today as it once was, Nike continues to release fresh and unique colorways of the high-top basketball sneaker. This time around, the Terminator hosts a grey jersey upper accented by black taped seams rather than the typical paneling, a cream mid-sole, a black tongue, a blue out-sole, and black laces. Though the colorway is not too crazy or bright, the smaller aspects of the sneaker, such as the bright blue out-sole and the taped seams, definitely make this pair stand out from the crowd. Earlier today, we showcased eight new variations of the Nike Terminator, and we now have two more colorways to share. Both of these colorways share a common element—patent leather. The first pair yields a white leather upper accented by purple patent leather seen on the toecap, lace region, laces, and heel. The second style hosts a similar colorway of a white upper with maize patent leather accents. Patent leather is always a great look which can be played up or down depending on the occasion while still looking fresh. The White/Purple & White/Maize Nike Terminator Low Basic Patent are now available on the ‘Bay and should be hitting retailers shortly.

As part of Nike Japan’s Play Hard campaign, Nike is set to release eight new variations of the Nike Terminator which will drop in both low and high cuts. The four high top pairs all feature white leather uppers with a different variation of the following colored accents: maroon, yellow, green, and red. The Nike Terminator Lows will also release with white leather uppers accented by either light green, dark green, blue, or yellow patent leather elements. A defining aspect of all eight sneakers is the multicolored “NIKE” on the heel. The Nike Terminator Play Hard Collection is set to release in Summer ‘09.

The latest release of Nike’s hybrid project is the Nike Terminator High Hybrid LE in sax/purple/white and black/grey/pink. The Nike Terminator infuses elements of Nike ACG products to include a free sole and Clima-Fit material. Aside from the earlier hybrids which were featured in earth-tone colorways, this Terminator stands out not only by its distinct model, but by its array of colors as well. The first pair essentially uses a white leather upper, white midsole, purple printed swoosh, sax yellow stitching, and turquoise panels throughout the shoe. The second uses a black and grey upper with a white midsole, turquoise stitching, and pink print swoosh. This shoe is perfect for Terminator fans who’d rather have them off the court, especially at a price of about $140.

The Nike Terminator High Hybrid is one of the most unique Nike hybrid models to date. Some sneakerheads are not too fond of the shape of the sneaker, while others dig the unique look. Whatever the case may be, we are now getting a first look at two new colorways of the Terminator High Hybrid. The Nike Terminator Low is getting decked out in a new and unique colorway this time which maintains its classic shape while adding a nice colorful aspect to it. Featuring a multicolored upper composed of a purple middle panel with a blue toecap, a red swoosh, a white toebox, and a blue tongue tag, this sneaker gives the 1980’s model a new and modern look. Nike has added a clean white midsole and white laces to this pair in order to contrast with the sneaker’s overall bright appearance. These are now available at select Nike retailers including Atmos.
