Jordan Brand and Nike held a special exhibit commemorating the evolution of JB’s line of footwear called the “Flight Forum”.

The brands new approach towards the “the Jordan shoe” focuses more on performance with previews for each upcoming Team Jordan sneaker surrounding the headliners for Jordan Brand – Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul. Each player inspires the design for the line up for Holiday 2011 including the newly unveiled Melo M8, CP3.V and the Fly Wade 2.

After seeing what Jordan Brand has in store it’s big signature line up, it’s pretty easy to tell that Jordan Brand now has the ball rolling on what’s in store for this season.

Team Jordan, along with it’s signatures, will return this Fall with more footwear, including the Jordan F2F II, which we preview here. Like it’s predecessor, the Jordan F2F, this model will feature similar design cues for the midsole/outsole combo and will remain a midcut silhouette. The F2F II will also sport nubuck and textile upper panels and heeltab.

Be on the lookout for these in the coming months as we unveil more from Jordan Brands Fall line up.

Out with the old and in with the new. That’s the slogan that comes to mind with our next sneaker we preview for you today.

Replacing the Team Jordan Ol’ School this year will be it’s brand new JB counterpart, the Jordan New School. This JB original design puts together a phylon midsole encasing a visible air unit at the heel, toe box support, TPU heel cup and a segmented forfoot outsole with classic herringbone traction pods.

This next installment in the Team Jordan series drops in November 2011 at a price of $115.

In light of the Fly Wade release,  images of another Air Jordan began to surface recently, the Jordan Fly 23. Like the Fly Wade, the latter half of the shoe shares similar features in the midsole with visible air. Also, with a solid rubber outsole and elephant print traction. The upper consists a combination of unique materials, along with a molded collar wrapped in faux-Carbon Fiber. Perhaps this sneaker is an alternative Team Shoe to the Fly Wade or maybe just another Jordan Brand creation that will be available for general release purchase. These may be available to you later this year, but if you want them early, hit up Kickz-Lab for a pair in very limited sizes. Jordan Brand isn’t what it is without Team Jordan sneakers to compliment the Air Jordan. Set to to release this July is the Jordan Team Iso Low in 2 colorways. This low cut Team Iso features an ankle height silhouette with a full grain leather upper. Catering to the slasher-type player, the  phylon midsole is wrapped around Zoom Air and the solid rubber outsole is equipped with a latteral outrigger. The first colorway we preview here is inspired by the Air Jordan III (3) “True Blue” using White/French Blue/Varsity Red-Cement, and the other comes in Stealth/Black/Light Graphite-White. Get both of these this coming July at the Nike Store for $100.

The Air Jordan 16.5 colorway we showed you in October has finally made its way into store fronts. Fitted with a White/Black/Blue colorway, the model makes use of premium materials like white leather on its upper, a patent black toe cap, and black mesh midpanel. With hits of blue on the midsole, heel tab, and outsole, the predominantly black and white model is accented with just the right amount of color. Certainly one of the nicer Team Jordans we’ve seen a while, you can take a look at some detailed pictures after the jump. Check with your local Jordan retailers to see if your area is stocking them yet.

Amid a deluge of contrived Fusion releases, it appears as if Jordan Brand might have maintained some semblance of sole/soul. (Ask Lil’ Bow Wow for an answer–he’s an “O.G.”) The brand’s latest triumvirate of XX3 releases has been met with wide acclaim nationwide, and the black/red “Premier” update set to drop in thirteen days looks favorable. The Jumpman has continued blessing their “Team” players with an assortment of exclusive merchandise, too. Detroit Pistons forward Richard “Rip” Hamilton recently sported this red/white/blue version of the ecologically friendly, yet luxurious XX3 Mid on-court. The model is accentuated by Hamilton’s nickname, “Rip City” stitched in royal blue along the ankle collar. Questions remain, however. Did NikeTalk member ES300 take a quick flick of the shoe on his phone? (Which might explain the picture’s grainy appearence…) Does this pair (or one shoe) even belong to him?
