Supra is gearing up for their collaboration involving skate brand Deathwish Skateboarding and two of their models, the Suprano and Diablo. The two styles are the signature sneakers of Erik Ellington and Jim Greco and are made over in red/black and black/yellow respectively. Furthermore, the Suprano and Diablo are hit with Deathwish branding found on the back and heel. Look for the Deathwish x Supra collaboration to release in the coming weeks at select retailers. Supra has started the year off strong by comprising a solid collection of styles for the beginning of 2009 and adds this Skytop to their selection of versatile sneakers. This particular version of the popular Chad Muska signature design features a bright color scheme consisting of magenta and black. In addition, a tiger print can be found on the majority of the upper in magenta. Lastly, a second set of laces will go along with this Skytop leaving the door open to mix and match as you like. No word as to when this model will be available in the U.S, but Japanese retailer Limited-Edt has them in-stock now.

With Ben Baller and the overrated Lil’ Wayne acting as celebrity advocates, burgeoning independent brand Supra ballooned into one of the most prominent brands in the hip-hop world this past year. The Skytop, the company’s high-rising casual model, is returning this year in a burgundy patent leather make-up, an all-bronze color scheme, and an ink blue suede version. With Supra’s signature sneaker designed for Terry Kennedy still under wraps, another skater’s sneaker releases in a new colorway. Jim Greco’s Suprano High will be available in this metallic purple style, one of the sneakers more eye-catching designs. This model is made up of a metallic purple upper along with subtle hints of black and a purple sole. Popular Air Jordan colorways are often used by other sneaker brands who take notice of these notorious color schemes. The Air Jordan V (5) Grape inspires Supra’s Cruizer, a low top sneaker that consists of grape and emerald along with a white base. There is a consistent Grape Air Jordan V theme that is carried from the netting at the mid-section to another Air Jordan V characteristics found at the lacing area.
