Last we heard from the Supra team, it was revving up for the second installment of its ever-popular Skytop model. The brand is also apparently keeping busy with other silhouettes. The Supra Vaider pictured here was made in light of the upcoming film “Armored,” which stars the likes of Matt Dillon and Laurence Fishburne. A total of 30 pairs of this Supra Vaider have been produced, most of which will be handed out to cast members. However, two pairs have apparently been promised to go to lucky winners who apply online. So make sure you enter the sweepstakes before the December 8 deadline; and, catch “Armored” in theatres nationwide starting December 4.

In the fall of last year, Fall Out Boy singer Pete Wentz was honored with a red-black/white pair of the Supra Vaider. Since it was the artist’s 29th birthday, only 29 pairs of them were circulated. Now, the two are at it again, with the result being a new pair of the Supra Vaider. This time around, the upper seems to consists mostly of an acid-washed, black suede theme with minimal red accents and the patented SupraFoam midsole. These are available now through certain online retailers such as CCS.

Supra has been hard at work getting the entirety of their Fall/Winter 2009 collection out of stockrooms and into storefronts. Following the rapid arrival of TK Society and Skytop models, the latest sneaker to get the end-of-year release treatment is the Supra Vaider, hitting the streets in four new colorways. With models in Black/Black, Black/Grey/Blue, Black/Red/White, and Black/White, the versatile collection is bound to appeal to the wardrobe of just about any Supra fan. All four colorways are available now from 413 Factory and other Supra retailers.

Previewed in June, the latest addition to Supra’s Fall 2009 line is this Burgundy colorway of their high-top sneaker, the Vaider. Featuring suede and perforated patent leather upper panels, the model is tied together with subtle details, like its waxed laces, striped midsole, and leather piping. You can pick up a pair of the Burgundy hightops from Karmaloop and other skate shops for a reasonable $95.

The Supra brand has been on an absolute tear in recent years with the rise to prominence of a number of its sneaker models. Supra also knows how to come up with exclusive, drool-inducing releases- as evidenced by the Karmaloop Skytop. Supra is now revving up for the release of a Skytop, Skylow, and Vaider all sporting duct tape material. Although it might sound messy and sticky at first, all three of these Supra models actually look rather clean and worthy of praise for the seamless incorporation of duct tape material. Reminiscent of black leather- even patent at certain angles- these three Supra Duct Tape sneakers are yet another treat from the up-and-coming skateboarding shoe company. New versions of the Supra Vaider are set to invade skate shops later this Fall. The hightop casual shoe features a white vulcanized midsole and reinforced ankle collar. A patent leather “Burgundy” style, a patent black/blue “Midnight” version and black/red premium leather “TUF Black Tape” schema highlight the release line. The Supra Vaider will make another strong appearence at select board retailers later this Fall.

Supra’s TUF Spring/Summer 2009 Collection is intended for boarders, and features more durable materials and toned down aesthetics than the brand’s casual counterparts. The series is headlined by rugged black and white variation of the Supra Skytop and Vaider. Each shoe is augmented by a vulcanized midsole with for added comfort and better grip while skating.
