Japanese retailer Mita Sneakers have been working on the Reebok Ex-O-Fit silhouette for a while now, resulting in some great releases for the Japanese Reebok consumer. The latest to release is the Mita x Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi SG Strap, which comes decked out in stripes for the Stripe edition. The shoe consists of a black/white stripe leather upper, complete with a white faux fur back ankle panel, white sole, and pink accents to nicely contrast the classic color combo. If you’re digging the stripes, then you can get your own pair for about $332 on December 23rd. A hefty price for a pair of Reeboks, so hope that these make their way onto U.S. soil soon.

The Air Jordan I (1) has been one of the most prominent Air Jordan models this year. Some consider it butchering the classic sneaker while others are happy at any chance to cop the sneaker that brought Jordan Brand to where it is today. Whatever the case may be, this Air Jordan 1 comes in the low-top velcro form and features a black on black colorway with max orange accents. The max orange can only be seen on the inner lining and on the jumpman on the tongue tag. This pair has a black on black upper with a contrasting white midsole to spice up the colorway a little. We saw a preview of the Air Jordan I (1) “A Tribe Called Quest” High Strap – Black / Varsity Red – Classic Green a couple days ago and we now have a new, more detailed picture and new information to share. This Air Jordan I (1) High Strap comes equipped with a black leather and fabric upper which is accented by red and green embroidery inspired by A Tribe Called Quest’s cover art from the Midnight Marauders album. Jordan Brand has gone the extra mile while designing this sneaker by including a patent leather Nike swoosh, green stitching on the midsole, and a red outsole which all come together to create a stylish sneaker that represents ATCQ well.

The official release date is set for February 2009, but the sneakers are now available at UptempoAir. The matching apparel can seen after the ‘jump.’

The Air Jordan 1 has been released multiple times throughout the last couple years and we are now seeing evidence that 2009 will also be filled with releases of the first numbered sneaker in the Air Jordan line.
