Since the release of the Asia Pack back in September, we haven’t seen much of Steve Nash’s latest signature shoe, the Nike Cradle Rock Low. With the 2009/2010 NBA season underway, Nash is wearing a new colorway of the low-top for his Phoenix Suns home games. Featuring a purple patent leather Swoosh, orange accents, and a black/purple plaid pattern, the model is completed with Nash’s signature logo on the back heel panel. Now available at select Nike accounts, prepare yourself for an away colorway to drop before the end of the year.

Steve Nash’s latest shoe, the Nike Cradle Rock Low, hit select Asian Nike Basketball retailers yesterday in four exclusive colorways. Inspired by Japan, China, Thailand, and the Philippines, the vibrant colorways do wonders to compliment the model’s skate-like appearance. Each version of the shoe features an embossed heel panel and country specific cultural symbol on the tongue tag. Released in extremely limited quantities, you’ll probably have a tough time getting your hands on a pair of any of the sneakers, but at least you can see some detailed images after the jump.

Nike Zoom MVP X Supreme - Phoenix Suns

Targeted at uber-quick guards who prefer a light, stable shoe, the Nike Zoom MVP X Supreme is the latest shoe to release from the Nike Basketball camp. The brand is crafting special versions for specific players and teams, and this neutral grey/ orange blaze pair will be sported by Phoenix’s perennial All-Star Steve Nash. The MVP X is augmented by Zoom Air cushioning and a rubberized translucent outsole that’s accented by an awesome “flame” pattern. The model’s sockliner features the phrase “I’ve Got Monstrous Game” in playful, big-block letters. Up top, the shoe is comprised of premium leather, multilayered ballistic mesh, and 3M. Oh, and what are your thoughts regarding the “mouth” on the heel collar–too sweet or too over the top? The Nike Zoom MVP x Supreme – Phoenix Suns is available worlldwide at most Nike Hoops retailers. Lowtop Love: Nike Zoom MVP (2 Colorways!)

Steve Nash is a rarity in the NBA; he’s one of the few players employed that strictly balls in lowtop sneakers. The Phoenix Suns frontman and Nike Basketball cornerstone will spend the 2009 seasons abusing opponents in the Nike Zoom MVP, a sleek shoe that places emphasis on smooth transition, wicked traction, and heel fit sturdier than Riker’s. The MVP has already hit Asia in a white/orange/team grey color scheme and a black/grey/royal blue/volt colorway. Both versions should hit the U.S.  in the coming weeks. Images via Kenlu.

Steve Nash Nike Zoom MVP

A little while ago, we gave you a preview of the Nike Zoom MVP and now we have detailed pictures of another colorway that is currently available. At first glance, it may seem as though this pair is a running shoe due to its low cut and lightweight design, but you will be surprised to know that this is a pair of basketball shoes that provides enough ankle support for some of the best guards in the world such as Steve Nash. This lowcut design is becoming prevalent in some of Nike Basketball’s recent releases such as the new Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Though the design is great for guards, there is a bit of uncertainty in regards to providing enough ankle support for the big men in the post. This colorway of the Nike Zoom MVP features a white base with purple and orange accents reminiscent of the colors of the Phoenix Suns. Sporting a purple outsole, a speckled midsole, and Steve Nash’s logo, this pair definitely stands out as one of Nike’s brightest releases in a while. The sneakers are a house of Shady hoops release which means that eventually you can buy them here Via: Unlocked

Nike Basketball’s 2009 lineup continues to build upon its success in focusing on sneakers that provide good traction and support while minimizing weight. The Nike Zoom MVP X will serve as 2 Time NBA MVP Steve Nash’s game shoes during the 2nd half of the 2008-2009 season. Featuring a black upper with a white toe box, this colorway has a classic look remixed with red accents and a unique Nash logo. This shoe combines the lightness and comfort from Nike’s “Free” series with the great designs of its highly successful Basketball line; consequently, many guards sponsored by Nike Basketball have taken a liking to this shoe and will most likely be donning it later this season. Expect to see these at your local Nike retailers sometime in Spring 2009. Via Kidulty.
