IPATH skate company has a treat for us today with a sweet preview of their Locust skate shoe. The IPATH Locust comes in two colorways: black/purple/blue and yellow/black/grey. These Mids follow a similar construction to that of a Nike Dunk Mid SB, but with IPATH’s logos in their rightful places.The first pair uses an all leather upper, while the other features a mix of black and yellow leather and grey suede at the toebox and side panel. Both use some simple white and black soles to finish off these durable skate shoes. Also, they come with stash pockets to keep that little something protected. Get your own Locust in January 2010.

The AJ1 Alpha takes the classic AJ1 silhouette and revamps it with the latest in Nike Basketball technology: a Zoom Air sole, Phylon midsole, and a non-sewn upper to name a few traits. After the return of the Onitsuka Tiger Lawnship, the Asics sub-brand has another retro in-store for the upcoming year. The Onitsuka Tiger Lay-Up will make a comeback, after its introduction in 1972, in three bright colorways. The Lay-Up is a hightop shoe that follows the same silhouette of the Converse Chuck Taylor. “Tiger” is printed vertically at the heel to go along with the logo tongue tag. The orange, blue, and red nylon uppers are combined with white midsoles and toes to make these classic comebacks. Be sure to find these at your local Tiger retailer come February 2010.

Gourmet, a company that gained notoriety for anonymizing classic Air Jordan silhouettes, has really come into their own with their Spring 2010 collection. Utilizing the unorthodox material of pony hair, the collection is balanced with the use of premium leather and waxed laces. The Nike Talache is making a comeback next year with a bang! The Nike Talache Mid AC ND comes in a clean sail/sail-obsidian colorway. It uses a white premium leather upper and checkered mudguard that makes this otherwise normal casual shoe stand out. Six dark dots accentuate the ankle, along with a class “Nike” logo at the back heel. Dark obsidian accents nicely offset the lightly-toned shoe. The Talache Mid is set to release in January, allowing us to start the year off pretty nicely.

Even with all the hype surrounding their Bobitto Garcia collaboration, PRO-Keds has managed to keep their momentum going with a preview of their rather impressive Spring 2010 collection. Largely overshadowed by other all-American classic brands (like Vans) in the last few years, the company bounces back in a big way with their collection of two-tone sneakers, the highlight of which comes in the form of black and blue models with clean leather uppers. The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 is definitely doing it big for 2010. The latest to leak is the Nike Air Structure Triax 91 Women’s, which comes in a sail/sail-green blade-trb green colorway. This women’s shoe features a sail white leather upper accented by green and blue accents on the swoosh stitching, tongue, heel panel, and sole. The black midsole nicely offsets the light upper, making the colorful tones on the sole stand out. The Nike Structure logo is stitched on the mesh tongue, making this a fine shoe to wear come March 2010.
