When news of the LeBron VII ‘Red Carpet’s limited release dropped last week, a lot of us were left disappointed.  Stocked at but four select locations and released with out any forewarning, very few sneakerheads got a chance to grab a pair of the White/Teal beauties before they sold out. Fortunately for us, a second wave of the model is scheduled to be released early next month. Footlocker and House of Hoops locations are expected to stock more pairs of the popular colorway on December 3rd, but make sure you keep mind of the date, as a wider release might not stop these bad boys from selling out again.

Just two days ago we presented our readers with a look at two pairs of the Louis Vuitton Sunlight expected to release in time for this holiday season. But the brand’s efforts to take more steps into the sneaker culture do not end there- as most of us could have guessed. To that extent, we’re here to pass on to you news of five pairs of the Louis Vuitton Street Sneaker also slated to release as part of the brand’s winter of 2009 collection. Two pairs come in a black/white colorway with damier embossed patent/calf leather- one in a low-top model and the other in a high-top “boot” one. The other three pairs come in black/white, white/black, and cocoa; all also sporting monogram embossed calf leather with the “LV” logo on the entire upper while sitting on completely white soles. These will all run you approximately $600 retail and can be found at your nearest Louis Vuitton flagship stores. How do you think these Street Sneakers match up to the Sunlight Sneakers? Check out individual pix of the collection’s sneakers after the jump.

David Beckham x James Bond x adidas ObyO Marathon Mid

MarathonMid1

As many brands, and adidas itself, have already done, sneaker silhouettes are being designed to help those living in frigid winter weather areas. The winterized boot pictured here draws inspiration from the original adidas Marathon Trainer. The adidas Originals by Originals crew teamed up with soccer superstar David Beckham and UNDFTD co-owner James Bond with the result being this mid-top Marathon in a predominantly black colorway with royal blue accents on the top of the tongue and in the form of accompanying shoe laces, of which there are three sets. And, as we’ve seen on adidas sneakers and boots prior to this, this Marathon mid comes equipped with Gore-Tex material to keep moisture and cold out, while maintaining your feet warm and firmly on the ground vis-a-vis the rugged outsole. There is even a secret zipper compartment on the tongue. These are now available through select adidas and adidas ObyO retailers. Check out this Marathon mid in different angles after the jump.

After showing you the Lacoste Missouri One Piece earlier, we now provide you with a preview of another Lacoste product. Pictured here is the result of a collaboration between Married to the MOB and Lacoste- a high-top Hironia inspired quite evidently by lingerie. The upper is covered in a floral pattern of different shades of purple, while the tongue consists of some leather detailing and the shoe laces are waxed. Whether you’re a guy or a girl, purple colorways captivate us alike, so be on the look-out for a release date some time later this year.

While most of us are aware of the Baron Davis Li-Ning signature sneaker series, he is not the only NBA player in a contract with the Chinese sneaker company. In fact, you can now add Toronto Raptors point guard Jose Calderon to the list of NBA ballers with their own Li-Ning PE. Pictured here is number 8’s Li-Ning PE in a black/red colorway. It dons the Spanish point guard’s number 8 on the inside ankle area, while a small depiction of Calderon in his patented 3 fingers pose fills the top of the shoe’s tongue. Finally, the Li-Ning team pays homage to Calderon’s hometown of Spain by placing a silhouette of the country’s flag underneath the shoe’s sole. With no word of a stateside release, here are pictures of the shoe that might or might not make its way to the U.S. If you had the chance to, would you be inclined to try out a pair?

Last week we offered you a look at the Niseko M3 Collection from Lacoste. The brand has since then finished work on a shoe it went back and paid a different sort of attention to. The Lacoste team has worked a blue, a purple, and a white one piece colorway onto the Missouri silhouette, meaning the upper does not come in multiple layers of material- instead, it comes in only one. Check out more pix after the jump as you decide whether to look for these sneakers, which have already dropped at select Lacoste retailers.

BapestaFoil

Last we saw A Bathing Ape’s Bapesta, it had gone back to experimenting with patent leather, which helped make it famous since the silhouette’s inception. Now, BAPE seems to be trying to once again disallow passers by from staring at your bapestas by draping a set of five of them in foil. The set of five Bapestas come in pink/white, red/white, purple/white, blue/white and copper/white. While the midsoles, shoe laces, and inner lining come in white, the uppers, outsoles and actual BAPE logo on each shoe all come in the pair’s particular foil color. These are set to release from select BAPE retailers soon- dropping from BAPE New York and BAPE Los Angeles this coming Saturday November 21, 2009. Do you like the foil or patent leather pairs better?
