Brazil’s Nike Sportswear team is helping get the country revved up for the upcoming soccer season by unveiling the Canarinho sneaker collection. The collection consists of a pair of the Nike Tennic Classic (despite the collection’s ties to soccer), Nike Blazer low Metro, and the Nike Dunk low. Nike’s Tennis Classic was worked on by Don Torelli and comes in a black upper with orange designs and accents such as on the outsole and bordering the Nike swoosh. The Nike Blazer low Metro comes in a predominantly black suede upper with very minimal drawings on the heel and a yellow/white outsole. Finally, the Nike Dunk low also comes in a black suede upper, except it also has colorful designs of soccer-playing on the heel and a red Nike swoosh. This collection will be a Brazil exclusive, so those located stateside could find themselves in a harder position trying to snag a pair of shoes from this collection (or at the very least a more expensive position). Many of you might have liked the Vunk, and many of you might not have. Either way, only if you wore grade school sizes did that matter. The same applies to this rather inventive and clean “Dominos” colorway. Coming in a predominantly black upper with white outsole, the rest of the upper has a sort of reverse “Domino” pattern because the dots are in white while the background is black. However, again, these are only available for those who can fit their feet into grade school sizes. What do you think about the colorway and patterning?

Size? was one of the European retailers to have recently collaborated with Reebok to produce a Reebok Pump 20 as part of the shoe’s 20th anniversary. Now the shop gives us a first look at a Nike Air Max 1 in a baroque brown/urban haze colorway that dons a “WEST” stitching on the tongue, hinting at its being a part of Nike’s 2009 East vs. West rivalry collection that only seems to keep expanding. To continue on with their South pack, Nike has released another classic colorway of the Nike Air Max 90. This Nike AM90 comes in a white/white-black colorway, keeping the shoe strictly two-toned. A white leather base is used, along with a black nubuck panel and black leather mudguard. The “Nike South” tongue tag fully represents the theme of the shoe, along with the waffle character printed on the insole. These Air Max 90s will make a U.S. release in December, but are available early overseas now and on eBay.

Amidst the rage about the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, samples of earlier versions of LeBron’s sig shoe always seem to pop up. Today, we have a look at a clean pair of Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) samples in a black/white/blue colorway. The sample uses a full leather upper, using a black base, with a blue swoosh and white toe to match the tri-stitched midsole. The lion logo is surely placed at the tongue to rep the King, along with other key details of the ZL6. These shoes would be perfect if LeBron were an Orlando Magic or Dallas Maverick, so maybe that’s why these didn’t get a general release. Nevertheless, these are a clean pair of samples that are sure to turn some heads.

Recently we previewed for you a collection of A Bathing Ape’s Bapesta silhouette that got “checkered” treatment. However, it seems as though Bape is checking (no pun intended) out how that scheme fits in with its Roadsta silhouette also. Three colorways of the Roadsta check include brown/blue, green/black, and grey/black. While the light color scheme on the first pair makes the checkered pattern stand out, the other two pairs’ darker colorways make the pattern a little more covert.
