New Balance has just released two new colorways of their BB730 model. The BB730 Limited Edition series looks more like a set of basketball shoes, rather than traditional runners which New Balance is known for. There’s a brown / white colorway, and a black / purple colorway; both are equally well designed. New Balance continues to release sneakers outside of the United States, so all of you better sacrifice those extra few dollars for shipping because it’s well worth it.

Nike seems to be bringing out many retros this year, such as the Air Garnett 3 and the Air Griffey Max 1. You can add the Air Max 2 CB ‘94 for this list, and it comes back in a colorway that was on a previous retro. These kicks are all white with grey accents and still feature the same details as the previous retro and OG model. Since they’re out now, you better be sure to pick these up if you’re a fan of retros or you just need something to hoop in.

Not yet sold on the upcoming Nike Air Yeezy releasing on May 2nd? Well these pictures may change your mind as they provide a detailed view of the next installment in the Kanye West collection. This Air Yeezy consists of a subtle combination of black, grey and pink. Other details include Yeezy’s “Y” print ont he patent leather strap and on the back heel. The inner lining is also colored with pink for a nice contrast. Get your chairs and camping gear ready for this one as it has been said people have already started lining up a few spots. Leading up to the release of the newly created sneaker for Supra rider Antwuan Dixon, The Dixon will be given away through an online contest held by the skate company. The Dixon features a low-top silhouette with a solid blue upper and gum sole as seen months ago. Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan I (1) Phat Low Prom Pack just in time for the big dance, but if all that patent leather wasn’t enough they may possibly have another model lined up. This Air Jordan I has been given the “Tuxedo” nickname as it sports a simple white and black color scheme with a layer of black patent leather surrounding the white areas of the sneaker. As of now there is no word of a release date, perhaps next year when Homecoming rolls around. TOMS Shoes has launched their second TOMS Vagabond Tour which stretches over the U.S and will be touring at five different regions. The Dave Matthews Band (DMB) will be joining TOMS and fourteen individuals who are called TOMS Vagabonds. Dave Matthews Band will be providing the official soundtrack for the tour and together they are “inspiring compassion in action on campuses nation-wide!” The event will be wrapped with a Style Your Sole bringing friends and students to buy and customize TOMS.

Atlanta based retailer joins already featured BLENDS as apart of the DC Summer 2009 Life Collection. This will be Standard’s first sneaker collaboration and is one of their biggest projects for the retailer second to their new Lennox Square location. The Admiral commemorates Standard’s expansion by incorporating designs found in the themes of the stores which include a true red leather upper with green laces and insole. The red represents the accents found in the two locations, while green signifies the artificial turf covering the floor of their Lennox Square spot. No word of an official release date, but stay posted for more details.
