Tony Parker has been blessed with many player exclusive colorways of Nike’s newest basketball sneakers including the Huarache ‘09 and the Hyperdunk, but now it is finally time for TP to unveil his own signature sneaker. Named the Nike Zoom Flight Club, Tony Parker’s signature shoe is extremely similar to the sneaker of another great point guard—Gary Payton’s Nike Zoom Flight 98. The Nike Zoom Flight Club features a white perforated leather upper with a Nike Swoosh near the front and a zipper going down the middle of the sneaker. The laces can be found under the zipper and Tony Parkers’ logo can be found on the rear of the sneaker. This pair also comes with an ankle strap for added support and the word “Fresh” on the insole. Made exclusively in womens’ sizes, this white and green colorway of the Terminator High is a bright, high-top alternative for female sneaker aficionados. Including a white leather base with green accents, this pair has a clean and simple colorway, but the overall appearance is quite bright and stylish. Love it or hate it, 2009 is slowly and steadily becoming the year of the Air Jordan I (1). With releases such as the Pewter Air Jordan 1 Retro High and the Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Strap – A Tribe Called Quest, Jordan Brand is bringing back their first numbered model with unique and new colorways. The latest Air Jordan 1 to be featured is the AJ1 Low seen above which puts a new twist on the classic cement print most known for its appearance on the Air Jordan III (3). This pair yields a white upper with brown cement print on the toebox and midpanel, a beige swoosh, and a begie outsole. Overall, this Air Jordan 1 Low yields a clean and simple colorway which nicely contrasts with the unique brown cement print. An official release date is unknown, but they are now available on the ‘Bay.

Earlier today, Kobe Bryant and his fellow Los Angeles Lakers came to Quicken Loans Arena to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Though Kobe Bryant was reported to be ill and needed intravenous fluids at halftime, his Lakers pulled through with a 101-91 victory with notable performances from Odom and Gasol. Though the game was exciting, the true excitement was brought while sneakerheads compared the two supertars’ sneaker choices. Lebron James showed up with a new Fairfax Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6), while Kobe started the game with the Carpe Diem Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) and switched to the Venom KBIV at the quarter break. Even though Bryant’s sneaker switch is quite an interesting topic, most sneakerheads stared in awe at what James was rocking. This is our first look at the Fairfax colorway of the Zoom Lebron VI and it looks quite promising.

With the NBA 2009 All Star Game just around the corner, we are now getting a first look at a Nike Zoom MVP inspired by All Star Weekend. Though Steve Nash did not actually make the roster for the game this year, his signature sneaker, the Zoom MVP, will still receive the All Star Game treatment. This pair is a “Trash Talk” release which indicates that the sneaker takes an eco-friendly approach and is literally made of trash out of Nike’s factory floors. The All Star rendition of the Zoom MVP features a white leather upper with a gold swoosh, gold accents, red laces, and red accents. The Air Max 90 is one of Nike’s classic sneakers which is constantly brought back in new and unique colorways. This color scheme of the AM90 features a white mesh and leather upper accented by a turquoise swoosh and a black leather panel. The latest sneaker to receive the Safari treatment from the designers over at Nike is the Terminator Low. Featuring a multicolored upper highlighted by a mint and blue safari print, blue laces, and a brown toecap, this sneaker is definitely not made for everyone. This pair’s color scheme is very similar to a Nike Air Max 1 which recently released and is part of the larger Nike Sportswear Spring 2009 Collection. The blue inner lining, teal swoosh, and the teal heel definitely add the needed aspects to make this pair special.
