Once the prototypical shoe of the sneaker world, the Nike Dunk High model has seen a bit of the back burner this year, receiving far fewer new colorways than in years past. Perhaps the pool of possible color combinations is simply drying up — if you’re wondering why they look so familiar, the front of the shoe features a toe/tongue virtually identical to that of the Goldenrod/Iowa colorway. The White midpanel and Total Orange heel do mix things up a little bit, the latter of which is accented with some faux-quilting similar to what we saw earlier this month, but I’m still not too excited about them. If they tickle your fancy, you can order a pair from Caliroots.com for a reasonable $150.

Adidas Nizza Consortium Stripe Pack

It’s been a while since we last heard of the adidas Nizza. But it’s come back in full effect with the adidas Nizza Consortium Stripe Pack. The pack consists of the adidas Nizza Hi and Low in blue and grey, respectively. The Hi features a blue stripe leather upper and white midsole to match the white stripes. The Low rocks a grey upper with yellow stripes to offset the white midsole. These are some pretty clean shoes that only helps make adidas a household name.

Nike Hyperize - Billy Hoyle

We recently featured a Nike Basketball Fall/Winter 2009 Preview which included some upcoming colorways of Nike Basketball’s latest sneaker, the Nike Hyperize, which has already been given the nickname Hyperdunk 2.0. This pair of the Hyperize is inspired by Billy Hoyle’s role in the 1992 film White Men Can’t Jump. Featuring a white upper with black, blue, and volt accents, this pair yields an overall clean and fresh colorway that is not too crazy or over the top. Though the colors are fresh, the most interesting aspect of this sneaker is most definitely the tongue tag which displays one of the more famous quotes from the aforementioned film, “I’M IN THE F*#@!NG ZONE!”. The “Billy Hoyle” Nike Hyperize is set to release in the upcoming months.
