The Air Jordan Defining Moments Package (DMP) was definitely one of the best sneaker packages to ever release. The DMP consisted of the Air Jordan 6 (VI) DMP and the Air Jordan 11 (XI) DMP, two of the most sought after Air Jordan sneakers upto date. What most people are not aware of is the fact that Jordan Brand was going to make the DMP package contain three pairs of sneakers and retail at $500. The third sneaker that was planned to release was the Converse Pro Leather All-Star sample that is shown above. There was an extremely limited quantity of the Converse samples produced and they were all never made available to the public. This Converse Pro Leather All-Star features a white and gold colorway which is highlighted by the “23″ on the heel in Carolina Blue and the image of Michael Jordan making the game winning shot to win his first NCAA championship ever on the heel as well. Making this pair even more special is the fact that Michael Jordan himself wore the Converse Pro Leather All-Stars throughout his college career with the North Carolina Tarheels. Nike has released countless colorways of the Nike Air Flight 89 over the years and most have sold extremely well, but others have fallen under the radar and have gone unnoticed by many sneakerheads. This pair has not been given much attention to as of late due to the simplistic colorway of white and black. This colorway of the traditional Nike Air Force One might remind you of Halloween due to the use of a dark upper with bright orange accents, but this pair in no way represents that October Holiday. Featuring a transitional upper which begins with a solid leather toebox and evolves into a patent leather heel that includes an embossed crocodile print, this colorway surely hosts an interesting array of materials and colors. The laces, the outsole, and the Nike swoosh are all composed of a bright orange colorway which nicely accent the dark navy upper and midsole. Glossy and shiny are the least of words that can be used to describe the luxurious all black colorway of Jordan Brand’s newest signature sneaker, the Air Jordan 2009.

Featuring an upper composed mostly of black patent leather and small gold accents, this colorway definitely yields an extremely clean and classy look. An important part of the new Air Jordan 2009 that has not been discussed much is the side panel which is composed solely of fabric in order to let the foot breathe and stay cool, to provide flexibility, and to yield a more comfortable basketball experience.
